I loved that interview. It's been an interesting season with ups and downs and Warne's not been perfect, but I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have in charge. I'm really looking forward to the summer and what signings we could make - here's to the top 2 this time next year.

Top Manager, but more importantly a Top Bloke! Nothing but respect for Paul Warne, likeable and down to earth! By the way I have put a Ghana player forward to the powers that be at Derby County, plays in Ghana Premier League and I know him personally from my time out there. He is very promising indeed and 21 years of age. I know that the League has rules on players from overseas, but if there is some way in which this player can get a trial and be considered for this great club then all the better! How cool would it be to have a Ghanaian at this club, I think truely amazing and I have to say that! Thanks for reading.

A very decent man and not a bad season overall albeit we should have reached the play offs. Needs to improve us to find a way to beat the better teams in the league next season but having some money to spend should see us right up there. We will go into next season with a proper manager and the shackles off. Exciting times 🐑

Been critial of pw.... Time will only tell but this interview seems to me like he has acknowledges some if the flaws from last season. Hope that translates into the coming season

Out of interest, why have you been critical? He's taken over a team that wasn't his, no chance to build it, gone on a ridiculous run and fallen short, with a team that's been put together in 3 weeks. Absolutely judge him on next season, but now is ridiculous.

@@tomburgess1984 your right. It's not his team but for me the 3 main criticisms are 1. Subs, sometimes for me he leaves them too late for the subs to have a meaningful impact on the game. Yes I know they are not his players but they are the players he has/had, use them. 2. Tactics, again for me he leaves it too late for switching tactics if the opponent changes it mid game to match them 3. Not willing to change the attacking approach. The Portsmouth game is the prime example of what I mean. 25 mins of crossing into the box resulted in 0 goals, for me he should have changed it up for the rest of the 1st half and tried a different approach Which is why I said he had acknowledged those in the interview which is a positive that he can see what some fans get frustrated about

He speaks so well and we can gravitate to that. But I just don’t hear the tenacity and courage in his words. Too soft on his appraisal. It’s all verging on learned helplessness. We need a leader. Setting the standards. Too soft for me. Nice guys won’t get us out of an ugly league/situation. Just my personal view 🙏

Well he got Rotherham out of it 3 times so it can't be too much of a hindrance being so nice. I actually find it quite refreshing to have such a down to earth, well spoken manager and i like his attitude towards the players and their families etc which is important. Don't forget we would be in the playoffs now if Wednesday didn't get a ridiculous penalty and us a red card, and we only had about 20 players. Clearly a good manager and i reckon he will get some proper talent in during this window
