Dang the way they felt about their generation of music is how I feel about my generation of music today... my mind is really blown cuz I think their generation was the last great generation of music

Foxy says she wanted a family 20 years from now...and almost 20 years later, she gave birth to her first child. Along with Mary speaking her future marriage and divorce into existence, Foxy spoke her future into existence too. Crazy how the subconscious works.

I remember watching this back in the day. My girl Missy reppin Portsmouth, VA which is my home town too. Foxy Brown was that chick in the mid 90s. Salt was hot too. We all know Mary J Blige. #Legends

just goes to show every generation always thinks what came before was better. we love the 90s and hated the 00s, they clearly loved the 80s and hated the 90s and so forth. people are never happy just being in the present.

It’s funny how back then they’re talking about how music of the time wasn’t as good but nowadays everyone is longing for the music and artists from this time

Its funny how they are saying that music wasn't fun to them then and this was like 1999/2000... I wonder how they feel now in 2012. Mainstream music is so lukewarm now.

Music evolves but I think we can actually agree that its at its worse all you have to do is put out a song and add a tik tok dance to it and boom

Agreed imo late 90s/early 00s was so much better than any modern music in 2020s in general both underground and mainstream.
