I was a freshman at Berkeley at the beginning of Wes's poster journey and collected Family Dog 1 & 2 and Bill Graham' 1st among 100 or so early posters. They became the wallpaper of many a dorm room--tack holes not withstanding. Unfortunately I hand colored a B&W copy ofWes's The Sound poster. Oh well.. A time of great confluence of art, music, and social upheaval. Thanks for showcasing Wes.

Wes was an interesting artist and very influential in the sixties and seventies. A talented and humble man. RIP Wes…..

There was one poster featured that was not a Wes Wilson. It was a Yardbirds poster by Bonnie MacLean.

Right, she was Bill Graham's wife.
