@NitkaQ8 жыл бұрын
SmallCaz in USA ? I highly doubt they have bilingual students I've never met american speaking more than 1 language. She did her best, she's an actress here not a french language master. Even in normal movies they sometimes have american/british actors pretending to be "native speakers" in some foreign language while they sound nothing like it, so yeah.
@SmallCaz8 жыл бұрын
"Highly doubt they have bilingual students ?" Why not ?There'd be at least one Spanish speaking person. She didn't have to be French, the point was that she's a foreign exchange student. Anyway, her French sounds even worse than the girl playing the translator does, they could at least have switched. Or even better : played on it. But they didn't and it sounds so silly it's distracting.

Lesson learnt! Never ask someone who is interested in us or to the same subject or project to be the middle person to someone or subject or project that we are interested in! ... There bound to be conflicts of interest or sabotage along the way! 🕯🌎

I'm American. French people are not "mean" but they give a GREAT deal of importance to proper etiquette and manners. It is deeply embedded in their culture. Americans are extremely casual, and typically when approaching French people this comes across as rude and careless, so the French behave accordingly in return (to their perception). This is just cultural differences :)

Yes, what they were saying was virtually unintelligible and so I had to read the subtitles too, to understand anything of what they were saying. They should have had a real French speaker for the exchange student. But the blonde girl's facial expressions were so fun to watch!

Well I don't want to be a bitch but I'm not sure someone who speaks CANADIAN french can tell anything about accents x) Désolée hein mais j'dois toujours me concentrer de ouf quand je parle à un Canadien tellement la différence est grande avec le "vrai" (:p) français... j'ai moins de mal avec l'accent anglais.

Well I learned french in school & college, hated the grammar, and glad I didn't ever have to use it. Couldn't tell the difference in the accents, and the French CAN be really rude jerks - (but then so can we all!?) so I LOVED the video. Good direction, acting, cast and overall fun to watch. A definite thumbs up from me!!

And the plot thickens. A little over a year ago, Rachel learned of Ethan's crush on Bella, and how he was using a book to learn how to get with her. Wanting Ethan for herself, Rachel tried to sabotage his chances with Bella, so she stole the tenth and final page to his book. However, when this ultimately failed and Ethan got together with Bella, she switched to plan B. One night when Bella was home alone with her friend, Rachel sent an assassin to her house. Under her orders, he injected her with a serum that removed all her memory. He then sent her to France, where Rachel hoped to never hear from her again. Ethan learns of this but before he is able to do anything about it Rachel injects him with a small sample of the serum and gives him a new identity: Ben. Meanwhile in France , Bella is picked up by a French family that names her Claire. She learns French from them but starts to remember english as well. Eventually more of her memories start coming back. She recalls the city that she is from, and travels there to learn more about her past. Upon her return, Rachel is shocked. She does notice, however, that Bella doesn't seem to remember anything about her old self. Claire decides to have some fun with Rachel and Ben, who apparently thinks she's cute. The two attempt to converse while Rachel translates for them. She of course mistranslates in order to sabotage the conversation, but it turns out to be unnecessary as the whole time Claire actually knew english and was just messing with them. After that, Claire leaves. Rachel has gotten her way from Ben. For now...
