Even though Chon Plays with A Clean tone I really would like to know what makes your tone semi-distorted at times, I know they don't use pedals but its puzzling to me haha?

James Bryant They crank the volume and gain on the clean channel. If you don't want to play loud, just turn the gain up on the clean channel and use a blues overdrive in front of the amp. Hope that helps :)

i absolutely love their song with vocals, it makes them so much more approach able. i get that catchy melody in 'Ecco' stuck in my head all day. I fucking love Chon, i saw them the other night in Charlotte NC. they put on an amazing show. I can't wait to see where they are going and they are so young. I'm older than their drummer.. and he shits on me when it comes to the kit. Truly talented guys, in your next interview, ask them how comfortable they are with incorporating more vocals into their music, they will push this band into a whole new level of originality and perfection.

good band ... pretty interesting to watch and listen to .... they need to raise their interview game though ...or maybe it was the interviewer ... know your subject , this is a band musicians are going to like ..focus on that shit ... ask them how they learned to play , who their influences are , who they like to listen to , tips on playing for fans trying to get better on their own instruments .... this band is about playing instruments at a pretty high level ... thats what probably draws most people in ... you can't treat them or interview them like a vocal oriented rock band
