It breaks my heart to hear about this young lady's story..her story is so common in the Philippines...there are so many single mothers..still, Jissel is so positive in spite of having endured so many hardships at such young age...I love her attitude, the will to persever against all odds is truly admirable May the Lord bless her I hope her boyfriend understands this young lady is a diamond in the rough...

Jessel is such a sweet and honest lady who works hard like her mother to move forward in life. I will never understand these so called 'men' who abandon their babies and girlfriends to poverty. I am so glad to hear she has her LDR and I hope and pray he is genuine and will take care of her and her baby. Very nice interview.

While this must have been very hard for Jessel to have this talk with you. I appreciate this. These life stories need to be told. As my Filipino wife has her stories to. I think we hear men from other blessed countries only complain about how they find life in the Philippines. They need to meet people like Jessel and listen to there stories. Then they may understand and appreciate the people of the Philippines. I appreciate and respect the Filipino people. Kiwi

It’s great to see these types of interviews to show the reality. I think many bitter foreigners complain about being taken advantage of by a Filipina. Sure some lonely old men that want to find a companion that is obviously younger and more beautiful but in reality they are also from a very humble lifestyle that has limited access to the convenience we enjoy in USA or other modern places. In reality that young girl has very limited choices and if a “grown man” loses money helping her and feels like he has been deceived. He needs to wake up and realize that he is delusional for his expectations.

Despite her situation, she still strives for self-growth/improvement and that's evident in how she speaks English. The PI is known to be English speaking but in reality, not every many can hold a conversation with it, and the ones who can took their time to practice in schools or during their free time. We may take it for granted but if you grew up and only live in the US or Australia, try doing an interview in German. Good luck!

Hello Jessel, you are such a wonderful person, authentically beautiful inside & out! If your LDR truly loved Jesus, he'd be talking about his faith with you in almost every conversation (as Paul just did) cuz of his excitement for what God is doing in his life & the lives of others, so you'd be 100% certain he's a Christian, you'd not be guessing. Sadly I'm afraid he's only saying what he thinks you want to hear, in order to capture your heart & if you ever meet him, & build a life with him, good luck getting him to church or to pray with you, after you give yourself to him!

@@ananumatanu7621 I appreciate your reply, but you're completely missing my point. He's tricking her into thinking Jesus's first in his life & that is dishonest. If a man loves Jesus first there is plenty room in his heart to make his wife feel like the most important person in his world! But convincing a person your religious views are stronger than they are, just to get them to fall in love with you, is manipulative.

@@samsilverman824 the old testament faith of the Hebrews & people of Israel will always hold a special place in my heart, for many reasons but in large part because Jesus was of course a Jew. However you are missing the most important part of the Bible, salvation through Jesus' blood on the cross, is the only way to eternal life. Going along with this belief, just to win a woman's heart would be disingenuous.

I think Gary is completely wrong describing what Jessel's mother did for her kids as a sacrifice.If Jessel's mother had given up her kids whom she loves more than anything else in the world to an orphanage because that is what most of people living in her barangi wanted her to do, then yes, that would have been really terrible and a huge sacrifice on her part .
@pambp59782 жыл бұрын
Would you do that with your own children? Interesting take on being a widow or widower with very young children.
@johnwray5292 жыл бұрын
@@pambp5978 I would like to think that I would do the same as Jessel’s mother which basically was to work morning, noon and night to support my children as a single father. I would do this not as any kind of sacrifice on my part but out of a profound selfish love for my children.

Genuinely interested to know why these young Christian girls are not taught to only have children after marriage, why are they even having sex outside of marriage? No judgment at all, just confused by their catholic upbringing on sex and marriage. Seems like way too many single moms. Is contraception still not allowed there?
@walkerskii2 жыл бұрын
In a primarily Catholic country birth control is either not allowed or not condoned, so you have a higher pregnancy rate. A Christian young girl totally devoted to Jesus can have a momentary lapse of judgment let herself get carried away with the heat of passion and end up pregnant. Doesn't mean she's a heathen, a loose girl would have had contraception with her and not gotten pregnant but the girls with better morals are usually the ones who end up pregnant because they were not planning on having sex.

I have mixed emotions about your channel, you're a great Christian example, to use this platform to share your faith in Christ! Yet by the time your wife is 40, you'll be 88, you will have indirectly obligated her into changing your diapers, then you will leave her as a young widow - how can this be unselfish love for her? If she's into age gaps, will she find another late seventies man to marry, just to care for him next?
@hdcordes62992 жыл бұрын
Yes because the truly Christian thing to do would be to judge him????? Age gap relationships are not mentioned in the Bible but passing judgment is mentioned numerous times. I am not sure he has ever said Leah was "into" age gaps as if it was some sort of fetish. They are two consenting adults that love one another and have improved each other's lives. Their only sin is apparently not checking to see if you find their relationship "unselfish". I think age gap relationships make practical sense. I am not sure I would personally want an age gap as large as the one they have but that does not mean I am any less happy for them. Just curious who you will have "changing your diapers"
