I had the honor of being the doorman/security when you came up here to Alaska! What a joy as well is an honor it was to shake your hand & truly feel the spirit , your love, and a magnificent feeling. I was the older brother who had to Porter Rockwell luck. We are so blessed to have a living Prophet today. The stone that is cut out of the mountain without hands is rolling forth is happening. We are still in the restoration and I am greatful to be living in it and being a part of it. I can't wait to see what else the Lord sees fit to reveal to us at the next General Conference.

@@tdubs5128 It was restored yes and the Priesthood and Covenants were restored necessary for us to enable us to return to His presence. The restoration continues in two ways. First to people who have not heard of it as it is the first time they have heard of the restored gospel. 2nd the Lord reveals additional means in which we can draw closer to him as we are living current revelation and being obedient.

@@tdubs5128 All fifteen apostles, prophets, seers and revelators are in complete unanimity before anything new comes out. I was just in a devotional in the Salt Lake Temple with Elder Bednar yesterday and he explained this concept extensively. It's not just President Nelson revealing the mind and will of the Lord. That is very reassuring. But, like Nephi after hearing and believing the words of his father, he also wanted to know and see and experience for himself and so can we if we inquire of the Lord.

@Imtherealthing You make valid points but please don't be condescending. Reproving betimes with sharpness means Correcting quickly with clarity. Clarity, not condescension. The facts and examples you give will have no effect if you don't also invite the Spirit which is the only true teacher that can have an effect on anyone. Any hint of the natural man drives away the Spirit. Love- only love works. Hope that's helpful.

@Imtherealthing I read every word of your exchange. But I do not feel the Spirit of the Lord from your comments. I have been endowed with Power from on High through the Holy Priesthood, and am worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost, to discern truth from deception thank-you very much, and your extremely condescending and disrespectful comment about women not holding the priesthood was offensive and disgusting. Please read and consider the following admonition: D&C 121:37- "...but when we undertake to cover our sins, or to gratify our pride, our vain ambition, or to exercise control or dominion or compulsion upon the souls of the children of men, in any degree of unrighteousness, behold, the heavens withdraw themselves; the Spirit of the Lord is grieved; and when it is withdrawn, Amen to the priesthood or the authority of that man." D&C 121:41- "No power or influence can or ought to be maintained by virtue of the priesthood, only by persuasion, by long-suffering, by gentleness and meekness, and by love unfeigned; 42 By kindness, and pure knowledge, which shall greatly enlarge the soul without hypocrisy, and without guile-" I'm not going to continue any discussion in this format while you're on here. I've never seen this level of trolling from a member of our Church, and I'm much more concerned with the way you've handled yourself than any other comment on this thread. Don't bother replying to me- I know you will, but please know that, I'm done and I will not come back here to read any reply.

Let's take an example @Jay Brons. Remember in the old testament? Samuel served in the temple with Eli. It was not until last year that young men started serving in the temple. So in that sense, that simple practice was not restored yet. And who knows what else. When you see it then you say, yea, that makes sense. The whole time it was in our face, we just did not see it. And if going around the world visiting the members is throwing authority around, that's a good way to do it too. I can see your point of view though.

Joseph Smith, quoting John the Revelator, indicated this gift is so important that( every “man who has the testimony of Jesus,” is a prophet, “)(for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. -Revelation 29:l0th )verse” (TPJS, p. 119) In ancient times it was thought that only a few people could be prophets. In fact, they often declared that they wanted only a certain person to be a prophet for all the people. Joseph Smith said this was a wrong concept and declared: . . . the people should (each one stand for himself, )(and depend on no man or men)( in that state of corruption) of the Jewish church-that (righteous persons could only deliver their own souls)(-applied it to the present state of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-)said if the people departed from the Lord, (they must fall-that they were depending on the Prophet)(, hence were darkened in their minds, in consequence of neglecting the duties devolving upon themselves), . . . (TPJS, pp. 237-238) And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. And [91] Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them. And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? Would God that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them! (Num. 11:25-29)

John, Jonah, Jeramiah, Daniel, & others. All these men of God had prophecy from God. So the first thing it takes to be a prophet is to have 《 A 》Prophecy. No prophecy NOT a PROPHET. Anyone can clame to be a PROPHET. Prophecy is Comunication to men with the purpose of informing men through THAT PROPHET with knolage no man can have. Without A prophecy a man is just a man God has NOTHING TO SAY TO, That are claming to be a prophet of God.. Nevermind whether《 IT 》Is a true prophet of God, OR FALSE, OR even a prophet of SATAN. No prophecy at all, not a prophet, wether of Gods, Satan's, or of themselves male or female , They are not prophets wether true or false. They have no prophecy, THEY ARE NOT A PROPHET OF ANY SORT.
