What makes Mr.Furedi a hero to me is that he was on to this many, many years ago. Like Douglas Murray, he's been fighting for the West long before the rest of us even realized we were in a war.

He came as an immigrant late 60's via Canada but from USSR he studied radical leftism and was at the forefront of the counterculture in the 80s. Well done Frank! You achieved your aim. You're now part of the hegemony you enthusiastically overthrew. Now take your medicine like a man and stop the apology tour.

@@rickardstrom9305 Yes. she said it with David Cameron and Nicolas Sarkozy in 2010. Later came 2015 and she opened up. I think they are also gaslighting people to buy time. They know they have to use force to stop it. They fear to use force on other people than their own people.

Guys, I really hope viewership grows, but you have to understand that for most of us, your viewers, this is just rehashing stuff that we've known for 15 years. You're preaching to the choir with these "lefties aren't actually the morally superior great people they say they are" segments and interviews, and it kinda "upsets" me to hear some old lefty tell me that he has a better understanding of that, because he spend the first half of his life thinking he was not just part of, but a leader within, "the bestest best people to have ever bested on this planet", than someone who recognized the hypocrisies and fallacies of such ideologies without having to take part in it for a single second. He hasn't changed, the whole world has changed around him. And while he was completely wrong when he thought he was completely right at that time, now that he realized he was completely wrong, he's even more right than he was before, so he's still actually part of the "bestest best people to have ever bested on this planet" just from the other, counter to what he build, side this time. Great, thanks, I'll let the people in prison know that the people who put them there will realize they were "not wrong, but right in a different time", in about 30 years.

@@ms-jl6dl It's not about being right/correct, it's about being not wrong. Lefties think they are correct about; racism, sexism and all other kinds of social stuff, healthcare both mental as physical and stuff like covid, the economy, the climate, politics both foreign and domestic and the list goes on. Name one thing on the lefty agenda that they aren't "100% sure about to a point that any critique is met with being called 100% "evil" wrong". There's no room for doubt, it's about believe, because it's a godless, saviourless, religion, for godless believers. And this guy didn't stop believing, he simply believes so much in "the original texts" he circled back around. If he woke up back in 1970, WITH the knowledge of today, he'd do the exact same thing again and try even harder to establish that lefty Utopia "properly, like never happened before, this time" to prevent the "world from changing around him, the wrong way".

Interesting, though I confess to being a bit irritated by the stuff on depression. I was depressed clinically for something like 25yrs, and rather solidly. I didn't know exactly why, it was a weird thing where it was there and I was looking for something to identify it with and there just wasn't anything. I eventually figured out there were physiological reasons for it, that no amount of philosophy was going to do anything about. Far from making me feel fragile, I feel incredibly tough to have survived it and I don't really know how I got through it. But it's dumb luck and my peculiar interests that made it possible for me to escape wholesale, in my forties. I wish I could get some of that time back knowing what I know now, but it could have been worse. My brother wasn't so lucky. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia in his teens. Possibly due to similar physiological issues to mine, though arguably more severe. He threw himself off a cliff in 2004. I don't think the stoics would've helped him much either. It's unfortunately true that our medical interventions are generally less than helpful in these situations (my brother would presumably still be alive otherwise), but it isn't wise to suggest mental illnesses are just some sort philo-social pose only adopted by people without access to the full works of Aristotle, since it can easily happen to you or someone you care about. Of course, people are using it as a pose, and that is gross and manipulative behaviour. One way to spot the fakers though, genuine people don't want to police your language on it, or behaviour around them generally, they want solutions.

Indeed, Arabic-speaking Christians call God Allah. That may be jarring to modern day US Christians (who tend to think of Allah as “the god of Islam”), but the term existed in the Arabic world long before Islam arrived on the scene, and it is the Arabic equivalent of the Hebrew word Elohim. In the mother tongue of Isho/Essus/Eesa/Jesus, Jesus christ addressed his lord with the titles Elah/Elohim/Allahaa/Illahi. Wouldn't it be better to call upon out lord with the pure divine titles rather than the word "God" which is a man made term??

Sorry Lotuseaters, I've been a subscriber for sometime and watched Carl's content for years, but this is too much. This guy is a professor and obviously indoctrinated generations of students over several years into the lefts ideology. Which is the core reason why the Western world is experiencing the degradation we are all witnessing. Every qualified professional with a degree from these Marxist university indoctrination camps went on to enter all of our centres of power armed with this same ideology. He openly admits his politics Haven't changed, so obviously he still believes in Socialism and Communism, but he disagrees with the authoritarian actions the left have adopted to enforce their methods. He's a contradiction in terms. Collectivism, i.e, socialism and communism can't ever work outside of authoritarian regimes. Yet he still says his politics haven't changed? Eh! He may claim he believes in free speech and the democratic process, but how on earth could that ever work alongside the lefts ideology? Marxism requires collectivism and you can't have individuals propagating opposition to socialist flawed regimes, because its human nature to form your own opinion. So the individuals right for their own opinions have to be quashed via authoritarian methods. I couldn't watch this interview for more than a few minutes after he stated his politics hadn't changed. He has been part of the problem and whatever he spouts now should be laughed off any platform.

So true. Increasing socialism, by necessity, requires a reduction of Freedoms of the individual and increased manipulation by the State. More laws and regulations must be implemented and ever increasing State participation is required to control the natural instinct of humans to make decisions based on their self-interest. Communism is just the the end of the spectrum where state control is 100% and personal freedom is 0% to the point where you the State literally forbids you leaving your nation. You might be able to argue that there is a sweet spot between Individual Freedoms and State control....but nonetheless Authoritarianism is a necessity if the Left actually wants their society to exist.

In Aramaic the mother tongue of Jesus Christ the words he used to address his lord in were Elah/Elohim/Allahaa/Illahi. Iso/isho was the name with which his mother named him. Many fake lovers claim to love Jesus christ but neglect his true teachings. Elah. Elah (אֱלָה, pl. Elim or Elohim; Imperial Aramaic: אלהא‏) is the Aramaic word for God and the absolute singular form of אלהא‏, ʾilāhā. The origin of the word is from Proto-Semitic *ʔil and is thus cognate to the Hebrew, Arabic, Akkadian, and other Semitic languages' words for god. Ishoʿ (īšōʕ), a cognate of the Hebrew term Yeshu, is the Eastern Syriac pronunciation of the Aramaic form of the name of Jesus. It is still commonly used as a name for Jesus among Syriac Christians of the Middle East and Saint Thomas Christians of India. Cognates of the name "Allāh" exist in other Semitic languages, including Hebrew and Aramaic. The corresponding Aramaic form is ʼElāh (אלה), but its emphatic state is ʼElāhā (אלהא). It is written as ܐܠܗܐ (ʼĔlāhā) in Biblical Aramaic and ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ (ʼAlāhā) in Syriac, both meaning simply "God". The word "God" is not a divine title and was never said or heard of by Jesus, or his blessed mother or any of the disciples. The pure divine words such as Elah/Elohim/Allah/illahi have been replaced to divide the people of the Abrahmic faiths and into thinking we all have a different diety.
