Richard is a phenomenal gift to music. One of my top favourite male vocalists of all time. Very humble and seemingly down to earth. Thanks for Welcome to the Real World Richard... it was my soundtrack in 85 and made me want to write and perform. Blessings my friend.

I met Elizabeth Taylor and I know that shock and awe Richard is talking about when he met her. She was gracious and repeated my name when introduced. That impressed me, made me feel as if she really saw you as a person.

Just a couple of tidbits ..Richard's amazing vocals can also be heard on 2 Anne Murray songs. "Time Don't Run Out On Me" ( especially towards the end of the song) ...And "Now and Forever (You and Me)

“Love is so strange, how it change from black to white......” something like that. Great band! I saw Richard decades ago in a room filled with amazing musicians and he was a back up singer. He’s such a fine songwriter and bassist not many know of.

I had 3 main "celebrity" crushes in my life -Rutger Hauer, Ben Orr, Richard Page. Two are no longer here, so I'm wishing Richard a long life and health.

Thank you for the interview but I would have appreciated the question if a Mr. Mister reunion - even if just for a couple of (filmed) gigs - could be in the cards for 2012.

Interesting, why was Elton John the chosen white vocalist on That's What Friends Are For and not Richard? I can't believe Richard didn't pass the audition with his amazing voice, which is certainly superior to Elton's (who, don't get me wrong, also had a terrific voice)! Elton was/is a much bigger star, I guess, with many more hit records and albums to his name. I guess that was the reason. Ah well.
