I usually fall asleep while watching videos on KZbin. However, on a fine Wednesday night I stayed up watching this video and I can tell you how much my eyes were drilled into this video. I want to personal thank you Mover for choosing a great person to your videos. I feel like that was my inspiration and can say now I have a pathway to becoming not only a Air Force pilot but a fighter pilot. I’m at a university getting my degree and I feel like I have a pathway to become a pilot for the Air Force that is the most successful. Thanks for all your videos and I will continue to watch.

Loved this interview, I have watched every one! Great to be able to show my son and daughter the diversity that exists but is often not seen in the military aviation community. What he said about if you can see me you can be me is a real thing and I am glad for his inspiring message. Both of my kids will see this. Thank you both for what you do!

Thanks for this interview, Mover. I was a recent select for OTS and RPA pilot! I’m literally just switching seats. Your videos and motivational interviews is what encouraged me and continues to help me keep pushing. I still aspire to go to UPT later on in my career, but if that doesn’t open up, the opportunities are endless. I’ve always wanted to get a hold of you, but my messages must have never made it your way. I do not have social media or anything. Thanks Mover! -Tide

The 15-E, F-15EX, and F-22 are my favorite Aircraft. I like the F15-E for it's awesome speed, range, and weapons capability. Long live the Eagle! The F-22 is an amazing Aircraft! I was pissed when I heard they had cancelled F-22 production. I believe they decided to build way too many F-35s. I believe the money would have been spent wiser on building more F-22s, fixing problems experienced by F-22s, and upgrading existing F-22s.

Peace!!!!Great interview, I was born and raised where the home of the 1st fighter wing is. Seeing F-15c formations and hearing them burners when I was probably 2 or 3,I came up wanting to be a fighter pilot. WINGS OF THE RED STAR and the regular WINGS episodes was all I cared about on the discovery Channel as a kid. I couldn't talk to any of my friends about aviation because I was the only one with interest. Flight Sims and DCS, gunship 3 mobile, it all gets played. 😆🤣😂 YOUR SUPREME G. AWSOME BRO and thank you for protecting our skies.

I love all your interviews (and the whole channel) Mover, but this was especially good! Agreed with earlier commenter, very inspirational. Spike's tenacity (pilot training with wife pulling night shifts and an infant?!) and the high quality of his communcation skills really stood out to me. Makes me wish I stuck with my own dream of becoming a fighter pilot years ago. I didn't "make them tell me no." I said it myself. I love my life now, but I regret not going out for it and finding out if I had what it takes. Keep up the good work!

Mover, this was a great video. I was thinking how great this discussion would be under the pavilion during a night at Oshkosh. Seriously, you and Spike with the encouraging message you bring, especially to young people interested in aviation, it would be a great time. I'd also encourage Spike to reach out to some Civil Air Patrol Squadrons in Florida and arrange to talk to them. They have some big squadrons down there and those kids would LOVE to hear from him....and you to if you haven't done that already.

Make them tell you know and if you can see me you can be me I can relate to that last one strongly. I have always wanted to be a train driver (engineer in the US) but have a wonky eye which is noticeable but doesn't effect my vision. So many people in the past have said it would stop me driving trains. But when I started working as a conductor (get the foot in the door on the way up the stairs) I met a driver who had a wonky eye much worse than mine. It was such a powerful sign that I could do it that I'm still applying at 32 despite 39 failed applications for different jobs on the railways, which is where the make them tell you no comes in, then if they do say no explore other options to get in
