Been playing guitar since I was 12. our years ago I lost the use of my left arm due to a motorcycle accident. I've been on a quest to find the right guitarist that has a sound and heart like mine. From Larry Carlton to Chieli Minucci, Lee Ritinour and more, I find Steve Lukather. 50 years of guitar playing love and no one can compare to the raw genius of "Luke". It will all be worth it in the coming days. You will prevail because you allowed the world to see your heart. Thanks, Steve.

I feel for him, but he should be grateful for a career that most people would of loved to have. Things happen in life, you have to stay positive, even when things get thrown at you. One of the greats of all time guitar playing wise, I wish the guy well.

I appreciate Steve's honesty. Thanks for keeping it real Steve. I love your music and listening to your interview helps me know I'm not alone with my life challenges. I guess life is a journey of lessons. Sorry to hear your mom passed. I wish nothing but good for you. I just ordered your Amsterdam concert with the CD and am looking so forward to receiving it next week from Amazon.com. Best Wishes, one of your fans, Jesse Craft

One of the finest session guitarists out there. The guy who played all the guitars (save Eddie's solo, of course) on "Beat it."

the chord progression he plays in the beginning is actually a transposition of Toto africa chorus part but they were one of the first to use this so no accusations to maestro Steve Lukather ;)

The best thing about Luke is the lack of bullshit.

An artist in great pain is capable to create the biggest masterpiece of their live , I think Luke did it with his new album, if you haven't heart it yet you missing out big time.

Maybe he got his act together with diet, exercise, etc., so he would have the strength to get through this bad year he had. Otherwise, he would have been a zombie. To feel is to live.

Steve to me is the perfect guitarist... He can sound like him when he wants, and he can play so you can't tell it's not your favorite flavor of the week when neccessery..

strange how you can go around pleasing so many and every one is ok with you not having a true love of your very own..and if ya try..some seems to try an even oppose.. like thats allllllllll we're here for 😔

He's obviously a lot healthier. The best thing about Luke is he doesn't grow old. He's still the best guitarist outside of Larry Carlton and Lee Ritenour, in that format, that I've ever heard. He's obviously a rock player, but he is to rock what those guys are to fusion. And I'm sure if he got out of the rock thing and played strictly fusion, you'd see how good he is at that stuff. He's just a fantastic musician.

Damn - all my songs have choruses that go Am-F-Cadd9-G. He's telling us there are others? Seriously, though, it's difficult not to like the guy as well as admire the playing.

Is this the latest interview of him? He looks younger than the ones done two years ago.

Luke RULES!!! One of the very finest guitarplayers out there! He's has a good point talking about the lyrics for 'Flash In The Pan'. These days lots of people get famous for nothing other than being disgusting, obnoxious idiots on tv! It's ridiculous! People with no fuckin talent whatsoever get famous, and then act like they're soooo important, when the truth is they're all worthless 15-minute hacks. Thank God for REAL musicians like Luke!
