My mother in law and father in law used to come over every Christmas and New Years before my Father in Law passed away in 2016. Now it is just my Mother in Law that comes over but Conway And Loretta was played every time they were over. I am a huge Conway fan. I am starting to enjoy Loretta's music more now then ever.

Back in 1988 my wife, daughter and I were doing the Gatlinburg thing. We were in a Christmas store (in the middle of summer, but that's a different story). I'm walking around, eyes glazed over when I notice a number of people looking at me. First I checked my zipper, then I looked left and right. On my left shoulder was Conway, dressed down and ducking the attention. I leaned over to my wife and said, "hello Darlin" as Conway made a rapid exit (not sure that he'd heard the comment). I respect people's space and didn't attempt to become a rabid fan while I'd been a fan for many many years by then. True story...
