I also love the fact that Anne Rices’ son is helping with a lot of the production.

It doesn't seem as if Rice was that involved with the production, although of course both Rices received the courtesy executive producer credit. When asked about the show on social media, CS has said to ask on AMC's account. I haven't found anything that says he is involved currently.

@@HuntingViolets I had watch something where he had stated he had assisted on a few episodes on the first season but not sure if he came back to do anything for the second. It might have like you said, their names were tied to it and nothing more. I swear I’ve seen him on a behind the scenes interview somewhere!
