The fact that they had the nerve to name this one “No Pain” and yet alll the characters were in pain for this whole episode! the irony! Chileeeeee….Claudia got into the coven (but at what cost?). I loved this review. I think that Claudia was saying that the worst thing was Bruce saying he loved her repeatedly before, during, and after SA-ing her that messed her up. Louis was trying to tell her that Armand officially knows Lestat was their maker but let her believe that all was well.

Lestat did succeed in turning his twink LOL. Armand was just telling him that he's not going to last long as a vampire cause he's weak. He don't have the sauce. Also Louis was trying to tell Claudia that he told on himself to Armand. He can't hold water for 3 seconds after forcing her to get the story straight he blabbed it out at the first opportunity and he knew he fcked up

Correction at 25:50 I think you misunderstood. Claudia was referring and talking about that guy she meets in Season 1 Episode 5 Bruce(Killer) how he would abuse, rape her, keep her under the floorboards. She wasn't talking about Lestat.

The man at the beginning is a member of the Talamasca, an organization which monitors supernatural phenomena such as witches, vampires, demons, ghosts and others. They're kind of like what the Men in Black are to aliens but to the supernatural. He introduced himself as Raglan James, who was in the books, and was once a member of the Talamasca and who became the "Body Thief". The cloak Lestat wears is his red "wolf killer" cloak. He made it from a pack of ravenous wolves he killed while he was still human. The wolves kept killing animals in the village, and they tasked Lestat with going into the mountains to kill them. That's initially what impresses Magnus, who later made him a vampire.

Raglan is a physic who can sneak into your body he swapped bodies with lestat and it was real weird.

No, Lestat was not "over" Nicky. Lestat has never gotten over Nicky,. I don't buy Armand's version of certain events at all. A lot of holes and blatant lies in his version. Louis wanted to tell Claudia that he admitted he killed Lestat to Armand, not about the guy in the park. Claudia was talking about Bruce not Lestat.

As you say the scenes were sort of from TVL but NOT, since it was Armand's version. Clearly it's his personal fantasy turned into fanfiction. No Gabrielle because Armand never liked her because she helped disband his Cult and advised Lestat against being a companion to him.....which he took.😊 😂

This was an amazing and heavy episode. I was tearing up every time Claudia talked about Bruce. Their lie was constantly reopening her trama. Now we know what the ripped pages were about between the 1st attack and her return home. I felt so scared for Louis and Claudia cause it's obvious the coven is playing with them, especially Armand and Santiago. Not to mention, the chemistry is through the charts with this cast!

Is anyone surprised that Louis invited Armand upstairs after telling him about his history with Lestat and Claudia not living for long? I wonder if Louis's motive is to seduce Armand to convince him not to tell the coven to kill Claudia. Do you think Armand really loves Louis or is he using him to get to Lestat? I know Lestat rejected him and I wonder if he sees Louis as a prize.

Even when Claudia was 14 her dresses did not look silly like that they want to hurt her. Plus making her play a child in the play cruel. No reason she could play a young adult character.

I couldn’t get through it. It’s so boring to me this season. So far, these episodes are predictable and quite boring. I get that it’s a love story, but it’s just the same story over and over with each episode. Not impressed.
