I took his class ovr 10 years while in leadership training for a company. I've aced every interview I've had. I am also a great speaker because of his classes. Wow, thank you for sharing your time and information. I really needed to hear this! I am embarking on furthering my professional status and becoming a leader or as I would hope to say one day, a visionary! I premeditated the interview long before I even was contemplating this next step or well before I knew I was worthy of having such a title. Your terminology really resonated with me because these are the words I focus heavily on when “answering” the interview questions in my head. This just confirmed I am worthy, I do have the qualities and mindset it takes to get the job, and actually you put even more pep in my step! I will be submitting my resume today and will leave all my fears behind and trust the process and my intuition. I envision the future all the time and where I am going, the options are limitless and it all starts with a positive optimistic attitude and discipline to my highest self. Thank you again for these priceless teachings, much respect to you and I will be checking out more of your videos! ❤️

Determine what answers you gave in the first interview you can re-use, and for which questions you need to come up with another answer. Of course, this depends on WHO will be in the 2nd interview. If some interviewers for the 2nd interview are repeat participants, change more of your answers. If it's a new team of people, you can re-use most of the answers you already used... that got you to the second interview! I have to get better about looking people in the eyes. Sometimes intense eye contact makes my stomach jump because I feel like they’re looking into my soul. It sounds dumb, but maybe that’s all the shady stuff I have done as a child coming back to my conscious? I guess I need more confidence in that area. My hand shake is on point and I do give direct eye contact while shaking hands. It’s just that sometimes you get those interviewers who want to know the last time you used pi or found the area of a hypotenuse at the same time. All while staring you dead in your soul. Is that just me or do you notice people like me who get nervous and have a little struggle holding onto intense eye contact? Curious
@divizziointernational5722
@divizziointernational5722 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Josie, great question! It doesn't sound dumb to me, it sounds normal. My experience is more people struggle with making eye contact than those who don't. The timeframe I suggest for eye contact is only 4-5 seconds (maximum) before moving on to another interviewer or looking away for 2-3 seconds. That's about the same amount of time as a standard sentence. My preference is to look downward or to the side (rather than upward) when looking away. Practicing your answers is important because the more you KNOW you have great answers, the easier it is to look at someone directly. Why? Because as you deliver your answer to them you are saying in your head, "Keep listening, this is a great answer!" Your confidence allows you to "feel" you are impressing them. Here's a tip: in one-on-one conversations with friends/family practice looking them in the eye while talking to them, and from time to time call them by name. "Ya know, Josie, I reallly appreicated it when you...." Practicing in less threatening situations will work wonders when you get under pressure. I can tell by your message that you want to get over this issue. Keep at it, your genuine desire to learn how to do this well will be enough - you'll get there. Let me know if I can help with other concerns. I want you to be successful!

@divizziointernational5722
@divizziointernational5722 2 жыл бұрын
Sure. The key is to talk about how the "process" of handling clients of any size is the same. Detail the "process" you use to land and/or service those clients, and how your being successful in the past makes you confident you will be as successful with high ticket sized clients. Reading people and how to connect with them is one of your areas of expertise - regardless the size of the account they represent. Best of luck - and thanks for watching!

Thanks for your comment. In your answer talk about specifically what tasks you will perform, and duties you will do that are attractive to you. Also, equally important is talking about how you will be able to help the company. Talk about what they get by hiring you. "I want this position because I enjoy doing xxxxx and yyyyy, and it gives me the opportunity to do zzzzzz. This position will allow me to use my talents to help the company xxxxxxxx. I'm confident I would be successful in this position if given the opportunity." I hope this helps, c

Thanks for this valuable session. Please I had a couple of questions related to the topic. 1. I had a Skype interview with a manager in another country 5 months ago. He got a good impression about me in the interview then he sent me to apologize because he offered the job to another person. Now I noticed that there is a new open position with the same hiring manager. For sure I have applied online but I would like to send him an email to show him my interest. what should I talk about in this email? 2. The mentioned interview was for a leadership position and the interviewer asked me Is it possible to say no? I would like to know what is the best answer to this tough question. Thanks in advance
@divizziointernational5722
@divizziointernational5722 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your questions. In the email I would say it was a pleasure meeting him the first time. Tell him that you applied for this new position, and that it would be an honor to compete again to work on his team. Regarding the second question, if I understand it correctly, can you - as a leader - say no? Absolutely yes. Being an effective leader requires a person to do what is right for the team and the company, and at times that means saying yes, and at times it means saying no. It's all about being strong enough to support the team and company mission. If I misinterpreted your question, please restate it. Thanks, c

@@mahmoudyamani9571 This would be my answer. It depends on what he is asking. If he is asking you to do something illegal, unethical, or unsafe, etcetera, or if he is asking you to not report something you have a responsibility to report, then the answer is YES, you "should" say no. For other requests, even ones in which you disagree with the suggested direction, strategy, or proposed solution, etc., you should comply with those. However, if there are many requests that you disagree with - on a consistent basis - that indicates the two of you would be happier working with someone else. Good question! C
