So much better than the other demos. the right amount of verbals starts the pedal low and winds it up. well played. I wonder how this pushed by the sweet baby sounds.

I've had one for a while as well... you can get some great 80's rock sounds from this pedal.
@Doug55248 жыл бұрын
You sure can get the 80s out of it ,it is unusual for me to buy pedals from china but after hearing Shaun Craig we watch the same Videos and like the same shop "Andertons music ":-)

Craig Parse Yep. My Les Paul & Fender amps turn into AC/DC Marshall stack with the push of a button and a compressor to boost it.

sounds fantastic indeed, I'm hearing a Marshall type midrange honk, especially with the tone turned down a bit, with the bridge pup. I wanted an overdrive to push my old amp, but after hearing what this one can do, I'm sold. thanks Shane.
@obicross11 жыл бұрын
i know right? :) that's what i thought at first then i read the manual, and it made sense. more presence gives you the sense of tightness, or crunchy-ness=chug. but then when you back off, you will lose some brightness/presence. great demo man! just made a demo myself bout this pedal. i love it!
@randytully24918 жыл бұрын
This pedal sounds similar to a Marshall JCM 800 stack in my opinion. I love it
@mattgilbert73477 жыл бұрын
Correct! It is a clone of the MI Crunch Box, which is meant to sound like a cranked JCM800. The JHS Angry Charlie is the same thing.
@intheblues11 жыл бұрын
There is a slight bass cut on there but with the top right distortion up it does thicken out a bit but i would say maybe 10% low end cut.

Not in this case. It really is a 2 Stage gain.I have one but think the preamp as a light od, big signal boost to drive the second stage harder.

A mi parecer es un clon del BB pre amp, tanto en diseño como sonido y funcionalidad, una buena opción económica para obtener ese sonido
@robertobrito98453 жыл бұрын

I just got one in today. In my limited time with it I am a little disappointed in where unity volume is. I am thinking it's around 3:00. Does anyone find theirs to be in the same spot. I was hoping that it could be used as a lead tone, but know I am not so sure.

Julio T. The Caline Orange Burst is a BB Preamp clone... and a damn good one. AliExpress has a seller that has the Caline Orange Burst and Blue Sky as a package deal for under $50. Highly recommended.
@mattgilbert73477 жыл бұрын
Those 2 pedals are great! You get a Timmy (Pure Sky)and Xotic BB (Orange Burst)for a low price. They stack beautifully. The Joyo Deluxe Crunch is a clone of the MI Crunch Box.

Not quite. Joyo's Crunch Distortion is their cone of the Crunch Box. As far as I know this is one of their original circuits.

Is this a JHS Angry Charlie clone? They seem very similar and have the same controls.
@MB-yw3pv8 жыл бұрын
FUNNY YOU SAY THAT BECAUSE THE ANGRY CHARLIE IS A CLONE OF THE MI AUDIO CRUNCH BOX AND SUPER CRUNCH BOX, IF YOU SET THE CONTROLS THE SAME ON THE CRUNCH BOX & ANGRY CHARLIE THEY SOUND IDENTICAL ON EVERY SETTING, EXCEPT JHS PULLED A DICK MOVE AND DECIDED TO JUST ABOUT DOUBLE THE PRICE OF THE CRUNCH BOX FROM $110 TO $200, MOOER MAKES A MI AUDIO CRUNCH BOX CLONE CALLED THE CRUNCHER AND HOTONE DOES AS WELL CALLED THE CHUNK
@ianbugayong86207 жыл бұрын
Do you think the deluxe crunch takes away too much bass or sounds too thin? I noticed how it isn't as thick as my other overdrives but it doesnt really sound thin to my ears when I dont compare it to anything else. Havent tried it in a full band setting yet. Does it cut better being somewhat lo fi?
@Barzi20017 жыл бұрын
I have the same feeling though. I tried with the band and it cuts through, but still... it is thin. Another thing is that it seems completely "disassociated" with the rest of the band. That does not happens e.g. with my modified TS-9 (Keeley mod) which mix very well with the overall band sound.
@ianbugayong86207 жыл бұрын
I have used it in a live band set-up and I kind of like how it sits in a band setting. It doesn't get in the way of the other instruments and the presence knob is extremely useful especially when you dont know what amp you'll end up with
@mattgilbert73477 жыл бұрын
Graphic EQ and a compressor helped me out with that.

the only way to really know is be in the room next to the amp...as KZbin doesn't accurate convey tone....a bit of a niave and necessary comment as many players use reverb....and there isn't that much reverb anyway...

THE PRE(AMP?) DOESN'T SEEM TO BE DOING MUCH IN TERMS OF DRIVE /GAIN, JUST SEEMS TO BE MAKING IT LOUDER AND/OR MAKING IT BRIGHTER? CANT TELL WHICH IT IS OUT OF THE 2, ADDING VOLUME OR MAKING IT BRIGHTER OR IT COULD BE BOTH
