Shoulda stretched and got the Prosonic mate... an awesome amp. Cool shop. Had the combo version of that grey carpet-covered Fender M80 back in the day and the drive channel actually sounded really cool for solid state.

Everytime I hear you sing the praises of the Peavey Classic 50 it amazes me how lucky I was to stumble into one almost 25 years ago. I had no idea what I was doing back then, but I took a chance and I've never even considered buying another amp since. I do think mine is due for a retube though.

Thanks Shane for showing the full tour. I discovered Found Sound last year, it's online site does not do it justice, wow!!! They currently have a guitar I've been looking for. It's a 2013 Fender Modern Player Starcaster -in Aged Cherry Burst (semi-hollow offset) Just have to work out the Budget?!? Cheers Pete

I still have my 2010 Peavey Classic 50 212. I've done the Blue mods to it and swapped the stock speakers for some Eminence Governors. It's a great amp. The 410 version is a killer amp. If you find one of these for a good price go ahead and pick it up.

The Fender Prosonic is the Amp Matthias Jabs of Scorpions moved to before having his own custom line of amps. He said the cut and aggressive nature of the Prosonic gave him a presence his older Marshall and Soldano amps never gave him. The Prosonic is SUPER underrated

been curious bout the Prosonic. Does it do a convincing Dumble-esque thing? Seems like that was the inspiration behind it, even with the green LED and chicken knobs. Can you let us know if u think its the poor mans ODS next time ur there? Thanks! Great content as always.

Shane you are giving away the secret of the classic 50 amps! Everything thinks they are inferior amps to fender, etc because they are Peavey amps but the truth is they are some of the best sounding amps ever made. Now the price will go up when the word gets out lol

I'll be down early in the new year, it's one of the stores I typically visit. Not a big fan of their website tho... Too much wading through 'preorder' gear. I get that if it's completly new gear that hasn't arrived yet, but it seems much of it is really backorder. That is, stock they've already sold and won't reorder unless somebody places a so called 'preorder'. Kinda confusing. 🤣

Saw a JCM800 there - Talk about Candy everywhere Jeepers - I had better not visit I like the JCM800 it is kind of bang in the middle between clean and dirty Everything Peavey I have tried is nice but 4x10 they have done so many good amps That would be Top Shelf Tone
