What I appreciate about Italians is that they are so kind and are often willing to help. Fun fact about Italy, I don’t know why, but here the least “bouji” hotels are the ones with the best people, both with service and spirit. I traveled a lot to Venice in my life, I live a couple of hours away from it, and before getting a house, I went to a lot of hotels. The best ones are definitely the family-run ones, they’re usually pretty caring and friendly, and I don’t know why but the most expensive ones are questionable (not all of them but a fair amount), even if you speak Italian.🤷🏼‍♀️

Stunning as always. May I say it seems that Zurich airport is the problem. Flew with my husband from Croatia (through Zurich) to Budapest- both our luggage lost. Received luggage and then from Budapest flying home (through Zurich yet again)- luggage lost again. So stressful and frustrating. So glad you were able to get it back!

Another great video! I had a similar mishap with a suitcase that left me with 5 days of waiting and hoping for it's arrival, and like you, I discovered very quickly what I missed the most- my skincare and makeup!! I now only travel with a carry on filled with my favorites and essentials. You looked very pretty as always and there's nothing like some girl time on a trip to revitalize those important friendships.

I have found that many 'service' employees in Venice have an attitude toward tourists like when we had an over the top aperitivo in Piazza san Marco and our waiter was wearing a Rolex! 🙄 They hate the tourists (who bring in all the revenue) Ive seen Venice...not going back and definitely never in summer! 😉

I am not a world traveller by any means and I went on vacation with two small children who required diapers years ago to a Caribbean destination and my luggage with my children’s diapers and all my clothes and shoes had gone to Germany. For 5 days I had to purchase clothes at the hotel shop😓on our way out on the 6th day, of a 7 day trip to do sight seeing, I see my luggage rolling in by a handler. Thankfully the hotel kept it locked in a luggage room until I got back. That taught me a lesson, pack light. Do not put all the children’s diapers and necessity’s In one luggage, as I had to ration because the locals advise that I should not put their diapers on my children based on different ingredients put in the diapers may cause a rash. I had a hard time enjoying the trip but did my best to make the most of it.
