I don't remember the Nestle Crunch bar being that thin...wow! Boy are they getting cheap!! Except the price sure isn't...which is why I haven't had one in decades to know how thin they are. Your's is far better! Thanks for the demo! : )

Matt how do i get the rice crispie treats out of the snack because i only have the snack rice krispe treat and idk how to get them out do i just smash the snack and then put it in the bowl idk pls help
@inthekitchenwithmatt4 жыл бұрын
Hello :) No you use the actual cereal, not the rice krispie treat. Here is what the box looks like on Amazon: amzn.to/2ydyRVC although they will probably have something similar at your supermarket, it may be this or just called crisped rice cereal. :) If you really wanted to you could smash up the rice krispie treat, but that also has other things in it like marshmallow.

Hi Matt at 9:42 you melted a candy bar why didn’t you just use milk chocolate chips or morsels? Matt I don’t like chocolate because it taste like Ex-Lax but I like the taste of Hershey bars is that a different type of chocolate, so when I make your candy bars I know which type of chocolate to buy.
@inthekitchenwithmatt4 жыл бұрын
Hello Howard! I used three different kinds of chocolate in the video, two different flavors of chocolate bars and I also used semi-sweet chocolate chips/morsels. Use whatever chocolate you like. Hershey bars work great!

I used to love the thicker snack sized bars and I think back in the day they added honey in them to give them a better taste...of course this was back in the 80's...

I’ve seen recipes that call for coconut oil. What are your thoughts about that?
@inthekitchenwithmatt3 жыл бұрын
You don't need coconut oil for this, because you are already using actual chocolate. If you are making the chocolate from scratch then sure you can use coconut oil or cacao/cocoa butter, which I show in these two videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6mVqXSnZdGXpsk and kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKGrZoSNbt6pe80

@inthekitchenwithmatt4 жыл бұрын
Hello, classic crunch bars don't have nuts in them. Just chocolate and crisped rice. So just use chocolate and crisped rice and you will be fine. The crunch comes from the crisped rice not nuts.
