@@honkman29 I'm actually hopeful that it'll last awhile. Before they had ten lives they had to go through and experience, which becomes tedious and less engaging over time despite the change in abilities. That's probably why a lot of deaths were staged or less care was taken with staying safe for the sake of moving things along. Here though, not only do they have the create mod, but they've cut down the amount of lives. Meaning every life that's lived will count more and just be more memorable in general. Will there probably be some staged deaths for the people who are good at surviving, probably, but overall people will be more engaged and thus want to see how long they can survive with each origin. Watch, this comment is either gonna age like milk or fine wine lol.

Martyn did you forget the lunch box at the starter area? To store all your food. Loving the mods chosen for this smp. This could be a very creative series. I know you are not an expert builder but the create mod is a very visual mod and i think you of all people might love it. Also i think your episode could be a little longer like 24-29 min, not too long but not too jam packed. This is gonna be fun❤

Most homes in the snow used darker color pallets to keep out the cold. Blues, blacks, grays, whites, and browns are a good match for the snow, and also help you find your base. Could easily do tunnels too under the mountain as some places would hallow out snow banks to impact them inside to keep in heat too.

Yeah, the creeper overhall mod has some interesting variety. I believe the bamboo creeper from the jungle and the terracotta creeper from the savannah are completely passive.

As your base, you could build a spiky ice castle as your base. Or at least a few spikes. I think they show this icy theme rally well. Or maybe an ice maze, with hidden passages and a lot of tunnels filled with these snowy little Colins that keep spawning around and in your base. (Btw, i think these snowy mob-thingies might have a connection to the warden. They have almost the same horns, and they have similar movements, they are also like nodding when they are walking.)

Tip for the Create stones. They are all ,ostly decorative but if you use the Create Grinding Wheel mechanics to crush them up. They each turn into nuggets of a type of metal. The yield is low but better than nothing if you decide to not build with them.

HEXAGONS! Hexagons are the shape water molecules naturally take when they crystalize (aka freeze), which is why snowflakes are 6-sided and such. If you want a *really* good-looking hexagon shape, the answer actually isn't to make the diagonals 1x2, but actually a repeating pattern that's a lot closer to a real 60 degree angle. if you space the blocks *1-2-2-1-2-2-2-1-2-2-2* in a repeating pattern then it takes HUNDREDS of blocks to stray from a proper 60 degree angle, and any hexagons built in that pattern look evenly hexagonal from every angle.

So what if you repeat the same shape/palette as the waypoint in a much larger structure in the large plateau just in front of your cave entrance? You can keep the area to the mountain looking natural, but maybe add some details around the entrance that make it more visually interesting. (Shades of blue and white plants, coral, maybe some ice and glass blocks to make the entrance area nice) then the interior of the cave can be mixed between natural cave and your blue and white color palette.

2 things I've thought of: I think having your area be built involving towers with tall pointy roofs, probably very thin at the top, would look really cool and have like ice spike vibes? the type of colours n blocks I'd use would involve cold colours like the asurine block (and maybe just regular stone/cobble/andesite type blocks) and maybe to contrast/compliment those; a dark, not too saturated wood colour. (dark oak would be an example, but there's probably better modded ones that I don't know of) and from what I know, geminitay has 7 hearts on her first origin, so do not ice her LOL

So apparently the Collins are Snowy Creepers from the Creeper Overhaul mod (also responsible for the strange cave creeper, and the creepers looking different overall). I couldn’t find much about them, but they seem fairly friendly, or at least passive.

As for coloration on your build, it would be cool to see the quartz, azurite, calcite, blue, light blue, snow block, all ice types, maybe a bit of purple and cyan, maybe bamboo and birch. I would say an igloo shape type building. You could have multiple domes each with their own purpose like farms or enchanting set ups. I would add spruce as trim in some places to add more colors in the design.
