Thank you for this incredible tutorial, Michael, but especially for the tip about using distortion and EQ to get lower basses to cut through on smaller sound systems. I've really been trying to focus on making music better for phone and laptop speakers, and I did come across the use of distortion and other techniques, but no other video has explained these concepts in as concise and clear a manner as you have. Aside from that, the abundance of other tips included in this other video (e.g., using the "Phase" function to cut down on pops and clips) are incredibly helpful as well. Thanks again! :)

Watching your videos is really motivating me to attempt making music after so many years of thinking about it, bought a midi keyboard, downloaded Vital, I have literally no idea what I'm doing but it's fun, thank you for that! Also, hope you don't mind me saying but in my opinion, don't be scared to put adverts in your videos. I spotted the advert cue on the timeline right at the end and thought you probably will get very few advert views putting one there. Completely free content like this is really appreciated (it really really is) but I almost feel guilty not watching an advert, it's different when content creators are making money out of our short attention spans with flashy editing almost tricking your brian into watching more rubbish, but this content is different and watching a couple adverts in exchange is more than fair and I'm sure anybody else who appreciated your content would feel the same way ❤️ if I were you I'd put one in-between each new sound you're explaining here. But it's just a thought, thank you for all the videos man please keep doing what you do 👍
