What do you mean? How can the quality be better by hurrying? You mean that you will finish the song by doing random things and eventually fix them at the end in the mastering? It have nothing to do with the quality of the end result. But if it is easier for you than that is another thing.

these are some great tips I'm mad I didn't know earlier. a tip of mine is to use the generators tab under the current project tab in the browser, which can give you access to the controls of any plugin and allow you to control them from there. this is a lifesaver when you want to automate a parameter in a 3rd party plug-in that doesn't support right click in its UI

@@inthemix No. Let me explain that to you in detail ! I wanna learn mixing and mastering. What I do is just watch random videos on Eq, some compressor tips tricks, then some other day I watch about saturation etc... so at the end of the day I'm learning something, but it's not in a sequential manner or I'd say its not scheduled properly. So that, I finally end up learning pieces about everything . But nothing is 100 percent clear. So what I want you to do is... help me out with a "schedule " . Here's my example... 1. First learn about what an eq is. 2. Then leran about types of eq 3. Then learn how to apply eq 4. Then how to use eq So this was for EQ Next for compressor, 1. What's a compressor 2. How does it work 3. Where to use 4. Types 5. How to Then say a reverb The same applies for every mixing technique. So it'd be great if you give me an idea of the whole mixing picture and a " road map " on what to learn next and next ! Hope you help me .

Many thanks yet again, Michael. My best tip -- once you have a few patterns sorted out, go to the Playlist, select all the patterns by right'clicking on the keyboard icon, and drag them all on top of the Track column. That auto-names a new track for each pattern, and puts an instance of each pattern at the start. If the patterns have colours, the tracks will adopt those too. My biggest gripe -- when I ask for 'random' colours, I don't want random colours, I want DIFFERENT colours. Yes, I know that's not what 'random' means, but it's what I want.
