Have been learning to program with python and js, how does one go about making a vst?? Do you have to develop 2 versions for mac/pc?
@YouleanSoftware5 жыл бұрын
@@lardosian If you want to make the audio plugins you will need to know the C++. Then just use some plugin framework like Juce or iPlug to create the plugins. Mostly, you will develop only for one platform and it will work on the other one too, but that depends on the framework. I am using the custom build of IPlug for my plugins and I had to do a lot of additional work to get the plugin working the same on Windows and macOS.

This meter is essential for helping you get a master track to the.volume level it should be..Before this meter I was just wondering how the pros tracks had more volume..well this is the key navigation meter..This is just a meter (not a volume enhancer/booster) ..It helps you scope out a desired volume level as well as helping you maintain a required volume level.

I’ve had this on my computer for a while but not used it. After reading up about it recently I inserted it at the last in the chain after my Drawmer S73 compressor and then soloed my group tracks and individually set the output levels to peaks around -18. I went through and did this for all guitars and bass just observing the data from the loudness meter to adjust the faders. When I played the track it came alive and there seemed to be more space for the individual instruments and the bass isn’t boomy. I lastly set the lead guitars riffs levels to sit with the level of everything else Before that everything was being pushed to the limit volume wise and it sounded muddy. Obviously the compressors don’t have to work as hard when you master at a lower level and have the final output level at around 0 Db. Yes this is an essential plug-in and visually tells you more accurately than your ears what’s going on. 👍👍👍
