I have given celpip , although celpip is easy as mentioned by you , i found it difficult especially for listening section. The reason behind that is , in celpip listening accent of speaking is totally different and difficult to understand as compared to IELTS , secondly as we are offered option it makes us confused to answer sometimes . And for reading and writing is good But for speaking celpip is not so comfortable at all because in test room most of all are have spelling module at the same time so we have to careful about not disturbing other it makes us to speak slowly and that might affect our fluency

I tried celpip for three times... - in first & second time, I failed in speaking section, where I scored only 6... - in the third time, I prepared well & got gud marks -> listening - 10, reading - 8, writing - 10, speaking - 7.... this helped to get ITA on Aug 20, 2020 & my PR application is in progress... I believe, Celpip is easier... if you follow some tricks, you can score well in this test...

@@naziharizvi5591 - your’s is a good score... in fact, it’s a great score... for getting ITA, other factors (like ur husbands age, education, experience) also matters... if your crs score is close to 470, you have bright chance for direct ITA... if it’s between 460 to 470, bright chance for PNP nomination... otherwise, it’s only slim chance as of now.... I came across your video while searching some sources to practice for CELPIP. As u mentioned in the last minute of the video, I'll be reappearing for the CELPIP-G test as I was not able achieve the desired score in my last try. (i.e. L-10, R-11, W-8, S-8). You guys can add one part about differentiating how bands are considered in both the test systems. Also, IELTS averages out the acquired score which can come handy in some cases, whereas in CELPIP, that is not the case. If u get a low band in any of the vertical in CELPIP, your overall CRS score goes low. I can be wrong in this but you can enlighten me with right facts. Anyways, It was a nice introductory video differentiating the two test systems. Also, I'm planning to reappear for the CELPIP test again in 15 days from now. I also bought the online material last time and have churned it again. It would be kind if you guys can suggest some links or sources that may come useful for the preparations. Thank you. Hope this reaches you soon.

@ Milan Shakuniya - Hi Milan, Did you appear for the exam again? Could you please let us know the score and your experience. Will be of great help! :)
@milanshakuniya87383 жыл бұрын
@@arunambethkar9699 No, I haven't appeared for the retest yet. It is getting prolonged due to frequent hurdles in this trying times and dip in confidence level. Nevertheless, I've shared my score from my earlier try. And if as an experience from that encounter, it was quite okay. I personally felt some technical glitches in the test, and I kept wondering if that shall have an adverse impact on my scores. To my surprise, it didn't, instead I taken aback from the scores I received in writing and speaking. I expected more from what I assessed my responses. However, the arrangement is fine usually at all the centers, but I'll suggest to practice with mild noises around you, as that can be a little distracting in the real test with other applicants giving tests around you. Anyways, I expect to appear for the test in this month, with a hope of a better result. I'll suggest book a date while you practicing, it surely helps with preps and scheduling your work load, both mentally and physically.

@@milanshakuniya8738 Thanks for your detailed reply and valuable inputs for the preparation. So far with my research, I found both IELTS and CELPIP stands the same in terms of grading the students in Writing and Speaking part by giving less scores (like decreasing their score from 7 to 6.5). This is done to make the student reappear for the exam. Is this true in terms of CELPIP? Please let me know.

First of all, it is funny to see how the clock behind you guys shows how much time it took to prepare the video. :P Secondly, you missed one important thing. A candidate can also lose points for not adhering to the word limit in their answers. By that I mean if the instructions say "Answer in two words or less", better make an attempt to answer it in two words max. It doesn't matter if the more appropriate answer is "South Eastern Texas". Due to the word limit, this would be marked wrong. The correct answer would be "Texas" and that's it. People need to be extra careful about that too. I had my exam back in July 2020. It went great. But this is something I struggled adhering to. So, wanted to share. And yes I would prefer CELPIP to IELTS any day.

IELTS is an international scam run by these countries,(just check out quora for details on how it is being operated) and they also have considerable income from international students in terms of education fees(remember you guys pay 3 times as compared to locals?), so all in all they will dig your pockets one way or the other... & also the taxes paid by these students... Now you would say that it is the same as residents, but see..... That's the tricky part, citizens get a lot of benefits in return from the govt. for the taxes they pay.... N benefits for students are quite limited if you consider each & every aspect N yeah, the wall clock seems funny once you start noticing time.... But i must say they are working quite hard, otherwise i had an impression that they just turn on the camera and say it, but seems like it's not that easy.... Plus editing 🌚
