I learned about Carol Burnett when i was a teen. They've ran the famous Carol Burnett tv Show here in the Philippines! I wasn't that really fluent in English at the time but she made me laugh so hard with her acts and face expressions!!! She was so hillarious! I've never skipped watching her on tv every week! She is indeed a legend and an icon!!!

As a young woman, I emigrated from Britain to live & work in upstate New York, then Boston in the 70's. I loved the Carol Burnett tv show. It is just as funny now I am in my 70's & living back in U.K. Thank you Carol ❤

I grew up watching Carol and appreciate her even more now after getting to know a little about her. What impresses me most is her dignity and understated beauty both inside and out. God bless you and your family and thank you for your life’s work of bringing a reprieve of happiness and laughter into our lives; one hour at a time. You truly had Angels watching over you and hearing that you paid it back really proves your character. Thank you for being your best!

As a teen ager, I’d slip out at night to watch Carol Burnett on t.v. With my sister who lived next door! We couldn’t get enough of her antics that kept us laughing for hours! This story of her life put it all Together for me. What a wonderful life she has lead, never sinking to low levels for laughs and always living a good life and raising three beautiful daughters too!

I watched Her show religiously! I must say that when Tim Conway became a regular. It was then an addiction. Every Saturday night! I must say there were two Hollywood Greats that brought Much Joy and Happiness into Millions of homes every week. They were Carol Burnett and Red Skelton, two of Hollywood's Greatest performers on stage! " and May GodBless"!

Having a great sense of humor will take you farther than having great looks Carol said she did not stand out in high school but when she discovered she could make so many people laugh while on stage at UCLA it made her have great confidence in herself .She said she went from being practically a nobody on campus to very popular overnight. She has entertained the entire world with her special gift 👍

@@cookie5335 she has used her face for comedy her entire career. She doesn’t struggle with it. In fact after she got her chin implant in 1982, she has said more than once she wished she hadn’t given in to societal vanity. She was influenced by others who said ,” you would be so much more beautiful if you would….. blah blah blah…” Her face is her trademark, like Bernadette Peters, Anjelica Huston , Emma Thompson to name a few. Carol is also 88 years old. Even if the pictures you reference are 20 years old, she was pushing 70…. I hope my only “facial deformity “ is a slight droop when I am pushing 70😜

Carrie does not look well here. This was filmed in 1997 she supposedly died from a surprise diagnosis of “cancer”five years later. Rumor on the street says That she got HIV years before by sharing needles and that her mother did not want to share that with the world. So as famous people usually do they say cancer when it was really AIDS. Same with Chadwick Boseman. Cancer sounds so much better than died of complications from undiagnosed HIV infection. The latter tells a story that people don’t feel comfortable telling the former doesn’t no one asks about cancer.
@randysills4418 Жыл бұрын
