Hurt people, hurt people. No normal decent person would even dream of criticizing someone they follow. This really made me sad and angry at the same time. Shame on all the critics out there. Everyone is just trying to do the best they can and you try and spread joy and compassion. What in the world more could you ask for? You’re perfect just the way you are and I look forward to seeing your videos every Saturday night. Don’t let them get to you, pity them. See you next week 🙋‍♀️👍🏻

My heart broke a little watching you share that painful part of your life. I, too, had often wondered, but couldn’t imagine asking about it, because I felt, well, you’re so transparent about most things, you would have shared it if you were comfortable doing so. I just don’t understand why people feel they have the right to know such personal information 😞. But we humans can be a curious bunch, I suppose. I love who you are, Susan, and look forward to your beautiful videos every week. The fact that you’ve not only survived the trauma, but are now thriving, is a very hopeful thing. You are good medicine. Shut out the noise and keep doing what you’re doing. We’ll be here waiting ❤

Your talking about Sean is very emotional for me, as my son is adopted. I know he was missed, too. He knows his birth mother, but they don’t have a relationship. They live within a half hour of each other. He has half siblings. He has no ongoing relationship with them. It’s just casual, and he doesn’t see them. I guess that for you there is I hope happiness with the pain. Because I believe Sean had wonderful parents. That’s precisely why he’s not in your life. YOU did your job. You gave him the life you wanted for him, but couldn’t give him. And it was good. If I had you here, I would give you a great big hug. We are, after all, two sides of the same coin.

As a German woman who lived a few years in the USA I'll never understand why so many American ladies seem to get their self confidence only from their looks. There are more important things like kindness, humor, being friendly, respectful and loving. You show us all this every week, dear Susan - and on top of this you are also beautiful on the outside. I guess there always will be people saying alot of crab because they don't love themselves as they are. Love to all of you.❤
@Good-DaySunshine
@Good-DaySunshine Ай бұрын
@@kokoslores9666 You are right- we lived in Germany 4 years and my mother noticed the same. It almost seems like USA women are brought up with just a smidge of vanity that will either grow into self confidence, or into fear about what others 'think'. There is YT channel I watch that shows women of all ages/sizes walking around in shopping areas, especially Italy. Those women are so self-caring and confident they wear whatever they want- many are wearing comfy athletic shoes with dresses instead of heels. And the clothing they wear is complimentary to any woman, but whereas here the tops, dresses, skirts, everything is form-fitting for the most part, there the clothing is billowy and comfortable looking- dressy or casual. They aren't necessarily trying to show off their perfect hip size and aren't obsessed with large "boons" (as my daughter called them at age 4). They walk with confidence- but you can always spot someone from the States in the crowd- LOL! Unless you buy a designer, the price/material ratio is much more affordable there. Ladies, we need to support each other instead of letting 'fashion moguls' decide how we wear what we wear, and other details about our 'looks'. Anybody want that channel name? There is no talking and she films it slightly slowed down so you can see how certain materials move over our curves- small or large...all are included. (You may see some models walk by in stilettos) The music makes it even more interesting, but there is always the mute button. :)

Thank you for sharing. My sister had a baby when she was just out of high school and gave him up for adoption. After my sister died a couple years ago my niece found him. He was raised in a wonderful loving family and had a good life. He is 50 and married with a family. He had moved out of our state. My niece talked to him on the phone but we haven’t met him yet. My mom told me she loved him more or at least as much as any other grandchildren. It was heartbreaking for her my sister to leave him at the hospital but my sister did the right thing by giving him life. I comment her for that. We will all be together someday with our lord in heaven. Sometimes the hardest things in life to do are the best. May God bless you and my sister by doing a very unselfish thing by giving life to these precious babies. ❤️🙏

You carry yourself with such grace, attractiveness, you seem fun, and you always look gorgeous in whatever you wear....I weigh more than you and i don't give a flying flip what anyone thinks of me.... I have more men come on to me as a plus size woman then ever at 141 when I was 18..... I looked anorexic and felt like crap. I feel great plus size...I have been married for 43 years and my husband thinks I am the most beautiful sexiest woman ever. I have people tell me how great I look all the time. I'm not saying this with a big head, I'm saying this because you can carry yourself at any weight/size with pride, beauty, personality and be very attractive to others. You’re beautiful no matter what your weight is! It disturbs me that viewers stop watching a creator because of their weight. That’s so shallow of them and speaks volumes as to the kind of people they are. I’m interested in your content and how sweet you come across in your videos, not your waist size. I, for one, don’t measure a person by their size or looks. It’s sad that our society has become so unforgiving of any little “perceived” flaw they see - perhaps they need to take a really hard look at themselves in the mirror. But, truth be told, they probably don’t like what they see in their own reflection. As the saying goes, hurt people hurt other people. If you want to get healthier, please do it for yourself, not because of comments or statistics. “YOU DO YOU!! That’s why your true loyal followers like me love you. ❤️🥰👏👏

I didn't know you had another son. That must have been heartbreaking for you to give him up. Even at 14. Remember when we were very young we loved all our play dolls like they were real. At 14 you still would have been a great mother if given the chance. God bless you.

Thank you for addressing this weight issue. I am 67, 5 ft 8 in tall, and weigh 169 lb. I wear a solid size 12 and am happy to be in this healthy body. I am so tired of seeing influencers who give a unrealistic picture of being over 60 in a size zero. In my humble opinion, being healthy, strong, self-confident, and always improving yourself in mind body and spirit is the only way to live.

Susan the fact that you had your son Sean ( forgive me if I didn't spell his name correctly) is a beautiful story. I will be 69 in December I would have loved to say I have a son/daughter and he/she is 46 years old but in my case I cannot say that because I was 22 & I aborted my child. So please don't be sad but rather be happy. I thought about deleting this comment but maybe someone will read this & they will not abort their baby. God bless you & Desi! Just wanted to say you look great as long as you are happy don't allow others to make you feel uncomfortable.

Well. I watched and I cried. God bless you. Life is just hard at times. And so often we don’t understand why things happen the way they do or why each of us are faced with situations that we’re faced with. I fully believe God has a plan. He’s always had a plan. I don’t always understand it but I’m not sure we’re supposed to. What a wonderful mother you’ve been to both your sons. Seems you always did what you needed to do for both of them, no matter how hard it was. There’s no greater love than that. Thank you for another sweet visit!

I am saddened by what others can do to others hurtful words😥 We are only on this earth for such a short time in the whole scheme of things. Let's UPLIFT each other as women instead of tearing each other down. I watch all kinds of KZbin videos and the size of the KZbinr NEVER effects my feelings towards them, it doesn't effect their talent or craft. People really need to get a life - instead of pooing on someone else's so they can feel better about themselves. Let's GROW UP ! There's a thought for the crab apples out there. You're wonderful and never let anyone affect your self-confidence. I know, easier said than done. 💌

One of the things I like the most about your channel is that you are so real and you share real life. While we may care about our weight and want to lose a few pounds, I think most of us are focused more on our health and trying to feel good and energetic. We have too many other things going on to worry about being as skinny as the next KZbinr. I appreciate that you share what works for you, fashion, interior design, and general reality day today. Oh and we cannot forget Mr. Desi!!! He keeps it all in perspective! 😊

In the first place anyone over 50 will have a change in body composition. Our individual body shape is unique along with uncontrollable factors that affect it, like our age, genes, hormones, gender. This is happening to everyone thin or not thin. So, make the best of a happy healthy lifestyle by being safe, good, kind and happy. 💛💙💜

You answered some very personal questions. I too gave up my son at 18.I wasn't married but I was in love with his father. We we're high school sweethearts not even prepared to raise a child. You did the selfless thing for your baby and I felt my son deserved everything I had ever had plus more. I've never been contacted by my son but his life is with the family that loved and raised him. He would be 53 now. I 'all never understand why people have to be so judgemental and just plain nosey. For me your channel is a breath of fresh air. I am a LOT older than you and there are 3 things I know for sure; When one is too thin wrinkles show up more because there is no fat to smooth the face. The women my age who are thin became very frail if they get sick and have a more difficult recovery. Strength is important to prevent falls and muscle weighs more than fat. Bonus #4: If one does fall a little padding helps prevent broken bones (speaking from experience) Susan, Maintain the weight that makes you feel healthiest and the most comfortable in your skin. Who cares what anyone else thinks

Susan you're beautiful! At any weight. You're genuine and you're fun and an oasis in the craziness. This has been the strangest month of my life. We've had the plumber out 4 times, had breakers replaced twice, the car battery died, the neighbor threw food over our fence and gave my border collie food poisoning, our washer quit, we repaired it, it quit again and we bought a new one, a possum broke into our utility room (that was a surprise WHOO) I didn't know I could scream like that, and last night I went to throw my dog a bite of cheese and forgot the island was there and broke my hand. Goodbye September! Good riddance!! I needed seeing a good friend like you! You're so open, your weight is perfect and I love your beautiful little house. You're radiant and you're happy. Don't let the doubters get you down. You were incredibly brave to get through giving a baby up for adoption. That's so heartbreaking. Love to you and Desi xx
