Thank you! Glad you found it interesting! That's a great point. We often have one main dominant type but we also use other types in our Tritype (a mixture of one dominant type from each center of intelligence). @@TrueYouSystems I kind of felt the same. I hit all the type 5 descriptors except the ones regarding moral and cultural norms, in which I have an almost paladin like attitude. I also have the type 6 traits mentioned at the end, but I believe that just stems from my view of everyone else treating morality less stringently than me leading to a general distrust of others. I'm glad you brought this up! Often if we relate to multiple types and their patterns, it's because we may have those in our tri type, a combination of our main dominant type plus a type from the others centers of intelligence (Thinking, Feeling, and Instinct). For example, you may use the pattern of 5 when utilizing your Thinking center (types 5, 6, and 7) and the pattern of 1 when using your Instinct center (types 8, 9, and 1). That would leave the Feeling center (types 2, 3 and 4) and the question, when I use my Feeling center which type do I lead with and use more often: 2, 3, or 4?

@TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Great observation! 5's can easily be either P or J, so descriptions of 5's can ring true for folks who lean more P or who lean more J. 1's, on the other hand, really tend to be more J, often very strongly so, since being proactive and organized are core to Type 1 -- in fact, any of the other MBTI letters could be switched, except J: you can have Feeler 1's, Sensing 1's, even Extrovert 1's. The MBTI traits that are really core to Type 5 are I and T -- they're kind of baked into what it is to be a 5 (though even there, I've seen 5's who have worked on building their emotional intelligence score higher on F in some cases). 5's can definitely be strongly S, too -- those tend to be the 5's who are more into hard facts and details than abstract ideas. But S-type 5's and N-type 5's are both very 5, because the core motivation is the same: understanding the world around them, and avoiding intrusions. (BTW, I get into this a bit in my "Are Five's Just Nerds" video, and I'll do more on this topic sometime). Anyway, there's so much interesting stuff to dig into from your comment, thank you for contributing!

Type 5’s are the quintessential INTP, being more heady, abstract, detached, unstructured, focused on acquiring knowledge and their personal interests/passions, so INTJ type 5s are naturally gonna seem more like INTPs. These two types are honestly closer in behavior than most people might think, though cognitively they are distinctly different.
@EssenceofPureFlavor4 ай бұрын
There are only 9 enneatypes and 16 MBTI types. Of course there's going to be overlap. There are 5 INTPs, INTJs, and even ISTPs. All of them are different from each other. Enneagram and MBTI aren't even dealing in the same categories. One is thought processes, the other is personal motivations. I am definitely an INTJ and not an INTP, wnd definitely a 5 and not a 1. For myself, 1 actually sounds more like what I think of when I think ISTJ. But that's not because there aren't 1 INTJs, that's because I'm not a 1 so I don't relate to it.

I definitely feel like I can relate to 5's, but I also have a lot of 1 tendencies as an INTJ, and even 6, but I notice this in differences in myself depending on the kind of social/work circle I'm in. There's this one group that I am very particularly 1 about it, like I hold them in high moral standards, but in another group I'm more chill about how they come across even though these same groups I genuinely care and treasure them, more like a 5. Another example is when it comes to food, I am particularly 1 about it, knowing the kinds of combos that are just the best and not regardless of expenses, but when it comes to fashion I'm more of a 5 and like to budget my expenses there. I'm still confused of my Ennegram type, but I know I'm an INTJ especially considering the cognitive functions.

These are such great examples of how we tap into different aspects of our personalities depending on context! We tend to have one main pattern that motivates us, but we also use a mixture of other types in addition to our main pattern or type. This is often called a Tritype (a mixture of 3 types from each center of intelligence). So it's possible you use the 5 pattern most when utilizing your head/thinking center and use the 1 pattern when utilizing your gut/instinct center. That would leave your heart/feeling center (2, 3, and 4) and figuring out which pattern you use most there. Hope this is helpful! Thanks for the great comment!

It’s not about being involved with people in the general sense but mostly not having BS in my life. If I let someone enter my world (any type of relationship) I want someone that I respect that can benefit to my growth. It’s basically to protect myself and be at my best. As you said it well, we like our alone time to recharge. One of the best sentence to describe that is: My alone feels so good, I'll only have you if you're sweeter than my solitude. And INTJ 6s definitely try to be loyal to others by giving advice on how to secure themselves and to avoid hardship. I don’t know, I’m fit both the 1 & the 5 based on this video. Trait 1: I am a perfectionist, and tend to dedicate my focus on fixing EVERYTHING & everyone. But for those who know me or if I’m forced to have to engage in the disruption of my “solitary confinement” time, I make it well known, right away, that I do not care, at all, to be around people, period. So it’s here and there because while I care nothing for any type of involvement with people, it is unavoidable. So know that & accepting that I go out of my way to have as less human contact as possible but with the contact that I do have they basically suggest that I may be considered to have ocd/ocpd.

I am classic 5 but I do find myself afraid of making mistakes because I don't want people to think I'm incompetent. So stupid to worry about that, but I think it stems from childhood which the eneagram talks about. I know when I first took mbti I took it multiple times to see what I got, but every time I got intj. I am glad to find out that I am not the only one who sees a lot of what appear to be inconsistencies in MBTI descriptions, especially with INTJ. This theory that there is more than one kind of INTJ makes sense to me. It seems to me that the Enneagram model actually describes human personalities better than does the MBTI model. It is interesting to compare type 1s and type 5s. For example, a type 1 tends towards a type 7 when they growing, while a type 5 tends towards a type 7 when under stress. That is an interesting dynamic. Meanwhile, a type 7 experiences the good aspects of a 5 when growing, yet becomes more like the bad aspects of a 1 under stress. It's as if the types 1, 5 and 7 are closely linked. I test as an INTJ in MBTI tests, both when self-testing and when others test me, yet I don't identify with all of the descriptions given in MBTI books and websites. Until I discovered the Enneagram, I thought that maybe the MBTI tests were flawed or that I was taking them incorrectly. What your video discusses explains the disconnect very well. After studying the Enneagram and talking to people about it, it turns out that my main type is 5 with a stronger 4 wing (interestingly the stress type for type 1's) than the 6 wing. The connections among types 1, 4, 5 and 7 make my life experiences so far make a lot more sense. These connections are a good model for how I tend to behave and think under times of growth and of stress. Also, how formative experiences with others in my life such as my father and paternal grandmother who are likely a type 1 (no wonder people who know my dad and me say I'm like him when I'm doing well) and my mother and maternal grandmother who are likely a type 7 (no wonder they drive me crazy when I'm stressed). My maternal grandfather was likely a 2 (he fits the description perfectly) and my paternal grandfather was likely a 5 (he and I were a lot alike).

My thoughts while watching this video perfectly proves the point it was trying to make. INTJ 5 - Never felt more validated in the way I operate through life, and maybe there is a bit of truth to the fact that I usually test as INTJ and enneagram type 5. INTJ 1 - This isn't me at all. I used to correct people's grammar though, but it was more of a sense that I wanted to annoy them vs that it needed to be correct. I also love making goals, nothing makes me happier than working on a goal, if something is just handed to me, then it's not worth it because I don't feel the thrill of accomplishment. I'm can also be a bit extroverted too, because you can't do a lot of things alone, like play tennis or dodgeball. Currently I'm on the train of thought that I'm an ISxP 3 though. I wonder if you use both 3 and 5 and which one is your main type 🤔 Your description about goals may show some centering around 3 possibly. 3s have a very strong need to accomplish goals and most importantly to be seen as having achieved those goals by others. 3s and 5s can share many surprising connections. Both are in the competency triad and feel a need to be capable in the world and seen that way. And both can tend to push feelings aside in order to be practical and efficient. There's lots of layers and it's so interesting to see how complex we really are! Thank you for sharing and deepening the conversation!

@@TrueYouSystems It's no problem, thanks for taking the time to read and respond to my comments, you're very polite, it's cool. The thing about needing to be capable and be seen as capable is very true, as is the pushing feelings aside in order to be efficient. Not just mental feelings, but physical ones as well, it doesn't matter how hurt, sick, or tired I might be feeling, I don't stop until I complete what needs to be done. I have a question, is it possible for a type 3 to want to be seen as something that isn't that good? In middle school, this girl asked me out, which was strange because she was seen as the "bad girl" of the school, she was constantly getting into fights and getting detention, and there I was, the straight A teacher's pet who never even gotten close to getting a detention. I thought it was a prank, and I didn't really like her that much, but the thought of what people would think if we were a couple overpowered that, I thought that they might see me as secretly being bad as well, and that appealed to me.
@TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Aww! Thank you! Of course I love this stuff and appreciate you sharing! Pushing aside physical needs for a goal can very much be a 3 pattern (8's can do this as well as other types, especially when the self-preservation instinct is lower). 3's can become so tied to a goal that they see it as who they are and feel that to slow down would have drastic consequences. They fear failure and being seen as failures. Fabulous question! 3's often have trouble assessing what they truly want apart from the expectations of society, family, and friends. So, many will experiment with testing out other personas separately and in different settings as a way to try on who they could be. In some cases, this can be trying on being something that is alluring because it is so unexpected and more "free" seeming than the persona they have been living. 3's want to be seen as achieving in whatever setting they are in, but that doesn't have to be the norm of what achievement looks like: it could be the best hippie, the best cool kid, the best goth, etc. 3's also are expert at compartmentalizing and do this with feelings as well as personas.

@@TrueYouSystems Thanks again lol, I'm glad I'm not being annoying or anything, I really enjoy talking about this stuff as well. I have a strong fear of failure, sometimes I won't even try at things if I don't feel like I will succeed, which technically is a failure in itself, but that's rare. Sometimes I can go a bit overboard with goals, even when I reached it, I still try to push the limits because, I think, if I made it this far, this I can make it further. What do you mean by compartmentalizing exactly?
@TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Definitely not annoying at all, and I could go on and on about this stuff too haha! 😆 I really love getting to learn from people about themselves and their experiences🤗 Such great examples here! Including 3s pushing the limits of success. Both 3s and 8s have a good gauge on what could be a potential failure, with 3s fixating on what will people think of them and how will they value them if they fail, and 8s fixating on whether failure may show they are vulnerable. Compartmentalizing is a defense strategy of blocking off different parts of oneself that conflict. So, for example, having certain feelings when in one group but then totally opposite feelings when surrounded by a very different group, but not addressing or acknowledging that conflict. Or, keeping different aspects of one's life separated. Thanks for sharing such great examples and questions!

INTJ here, I frequently test as a 5 but i can see 1 in the needing to right injustices in the world and giving advice (or logical arguments) which no one listens too. Plus i can't stand wine. 😂 I struggle with organization but not when it comes to work or hobbies. Long term prioritization is hard, but i can organize instantly in an emergency or most effective responses for troubleshooting. What would you recommend on finding out how to catagorize the variations in the Enneagram? I want to learn more about it.
@TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Love these examples! Excited you are interested to learn more! I recommend reading a bit about each type and seeing what resonates with you, or watch my short intro to the 9 types video and see what you connect with😉. Then from there, start to piece together your dominant type from each center of intelligence (feeling, thinking, instinct). There are so many layers and so much depth to this system to keep expanding understanding! If you relate most to type 5 and the motivations for 5, that's most likely your dominant type. But we use one type from each center of intelligence, so it's possible you also use type 1 when you experience anger and use your instinct center (types 8, 9 and 1). That would leave the feeling center, types 2, 3 and 4, and you may go to one of those three types most often when you use that center. Some of what you described may be from which wing is dominant for you. The wings are the numbers next to your main type, and they can influence how the main type presents. For 5, that's types 4 and 6. 6's are excellent trouble shooters always ready in an emergency. I hope this is helpful! Thanks so much for sharing and the great question!

Hey, nice video😎 I have some thoughts about this however you might consider..... You focused your analysis on INTJ traits, but if you take a deeper look INTJ cognitive functions are already fitting both 5 and 1 traits.... Ni/Se could match the enea 5 where we drink in the information for our curiosity and need for understanding (Ni) and we use all the resources we can to prevent our energy to be drained (Se).... Moreover, the Te/Fi would match our 1 side where the INTJ is goal driven (Te) and try to align their actions to a moral vision (Fi).... Therefore, saying that INTJ 5 dont do things according to a moral code and do just to innovate is wrong as saying that INTJ 1 dont learn to satisfy their curiosity and only do things because is their moral duty is also wrong.... INTJ exists as a whole and his enneagram type is only the part of his phyche that he uses the most..... INTJ 5 usually are using Ni to much that makes the imbalance with Se bigger and lead to no action and INTJ 1 was able to integrate the middle parts of his phyche making him navigating the world easily... In conclusion.... There are no two different types of INTJ..... they are just one type of INTJ whos enneagram is formed according to their life experiences that influence the stage of development their in.... but ultimatly what you call the INTJ 1 is what the 5 aspire too but just has a harder time of having the energy to get to that level..... but because they are INTJ, those traits are there, they just need more effort.... Hope it helps

Hey! Thank you! Interesting points! I agree that going deeper with cognitive functions can help explain some nuances in MBTI behavior and some of the variations that can be seen in different INTJs. Cognitive functions and the MBTI are a great tool for what they look at in terms if personality, but they don't explain everything (neither does the Enneagram, of course). I actually made a whole video about that, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZDIl4eMjMqUpa8 I also really like how you point out that one's Enneagram type is influenced by their life experiences and and that there can be different levels of health within a personality. That being said, I think the motivations are different for 1s and 5s and to a degree that would make it hard for a 5 to strive to be like a 1. For example, a 5's fixation on needing to use reason and logic in all things would compel them not to care about finishing a book because they said they would; it would be irrational to invest time in something that doesn't matter. It's not that a 5 is less moral than a 1, but that they are less fixated on doing something based on right and wrong rather than reason and logic. 5s can have different levels of health, like any type, but that doesn't mean the better version of 5 is 1 or that all 5s wish they were more like 1s. In general, though, for any type, being healthier means that we are more flexible, less stuck in our own narrow type patterns, and more able to take on behaviors and perspectives of other types. Thank you so much for adding nuance, complexity and expertise to the discussion here! 🤗
@ltal95704 ай бұрын
@@TrueYouSystems Hey, I agree with all except two things.... 1 if it is irrational to finish a book, not even a type one would finish it because if the book doesnt matter, I think no type would waste time on it because their judgment would say I shouldnt waste my time here and should use that time to focus on other thing more valuable 2 My point wasnt that the 5 aspire to be 1 as a whole.... As no type can change..... my point was that by developing there middle cognitive functions they will inevitable develop some type one traits like being more goal oriented (Te) and being more in touch with their moral compass (Fi)... however the unbalance between Ni and Se gives an INTJ the overall fixation that makes them a 5 or a 1 depending of how their life experiences impacted them early in life.... Ps Stay tune, when I watch the other video I will give you my thoughts about it...... But before that you gave me an existencial question that I would like to reflect on..... Why am I going to watch that video?..... Is it because you ask me to and it is the right thing to do because it would make me virtuous in doing so? 1 Or is it because there is a force much greater than myself that can't help it but to watch and to know what adding thoughts you have about this subject 5? Its a tricky question being an INTJ Ill give you that. After watching the video I will comment your thoughts and uncover the big mystery🫡

Many of the traits, both the strengths and weaknesses, fit me to a T, which makes me not doubt my MBTI test result at all, however this video is the first I've heard about multiple types thereof INTJs. From your explanation, I seem to be an almost even mix of the type 1 and 5 INTJ, so I'm very interested to find out where exactly on the spectrum I am, or at least the information to guide me closer to that knowledge. There are definitely INTJ 6s! Tests for the Enneagram can sometimes mistype since they don't always focus on what the motivation behind the behavior is. So a great question to ask is: which type did you relate to most, was it 6, 5 or 1? And then that one will be the dominant type pattern and the others a possible wing or part of your Tritype (a mixture of one type from each center of intelligence) So for example you may be a 6 wing 5 and have 1 in your Tritype 😊 Hope this is helpful! It can sometimes be really hard to find out what our dominant type is! We are also a mixture of 3 main types from each center of intelligence, often called a Tritype. But In some cases the confusion oven knowing your dominant type may happen from certain specific traits from different types you find relatable. For example 1, 5, and 3 all fixate on competency, but fixate on it in different ways. Or, for example, 1, 6, and 2 all share that they are dutiful, compliant and focused on serving others or an ideal before addressing their own needs. The main question to ask when exploring your dominant type is: What is the underlying motivation and fears that I tend to fixate on? I hope this is helpful! Thanks so much for sharing your thinking! 🤗

This is a great point! A/T provide helpful measures in looking at the different mbti subtypes but they don't account for this particular divide in how INTJ can manifest 🙂 That is because the mbti measures cognitive functions while the enneagram looks at internal motivations. This means you can have both an INTJ-A and an INTJ-T that are both 5s, for example. How their enneagram patterns manifest may be different externally but their internal motivation and drive remain the same😊. @TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Interesting! Yes, 8s can definitely be INTJs, though from the surveys I've seen ENTJs are more common. In general, 8s tend toward extroversion, as they don't tend to experience much social inhibition and are often comfortable being at the center of groups. However, they might describe themselves as not always enjoying the company of people, so they might rate more highly on that aspect of introversion, which could push them onto the introvert side of the spectrum. Typically, they're not very extreme introverts, though, but rather closer to the middle of the spectrum. INTJ 8s and ENTJ 8s (especially for those who are close to the middle of E/I, on either side) will have a lot of similarities, and you might find my ENTJ video interesting, as that focuses largely on 8s (along with 3s). I'm new to studying the Enneagram, but I noticed that the split MBTI misses wrt INTJs is between members of the brain and gut triads. Are there others of these glitches in MTBI, caused by their dividing people into brain and heart types, oblivious to the gut types?

Great question! There are definitely many INTP 5's, but fewer INTP 1's, because 1's tend to overemphasize their J function. Most 5's are I and T dominant, with S/N and P/J being the variables. And the biggest difference between 5's expression tends to be between S and N (I hint at this briefly in my "Are 5's Just Nerds" video 😉).

Great explanation of how 5's often handle others' mistakes!
@TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! While there is a Head and Heart center and a Thinking and Feeling measure in MBTI, they look at somewhat different traits. For MBTI the question that T/F addresses is "How do I make a decision" and it lumps a lot of the gut-centered feelings like anger into the F function. The Enneagram asks a slightly different question, which is "What dominant emotion motivates me to develop a pattern of behavior (aka a personality)?" So, "Am I motivated by shame and a need for affirmation"? (Heart/Feeling center); "Am I motivated by anxiety and a need for certainty"? (Head/Thinking center); "Am I motivated by anger and a need for agency"? (Gut/Instinct center). This is why layering both systems can be so helpful!

Haha they are! 🌸😊 Love that example! We can all have an eye for aesthetics, but the question in terms of the Enneagram is *why* -- is it because there's not enough beauty in the world and having it surrounding me brings up and intensifies certain feelings I'm looking for, perhaps even a memory it heightens? That can be from a 4 pattern, something 5's have access to via their wing. Or is it because there are things that *should* be in a person's home? Things that make sense to have and look as they should. This may be from a 1 pattern. These just a couple of examples! Thanks for sharing, great topic!

So there’s the lazy intj and the pushy intj
@TrueYouSystems11 ай бұрын
Haha that's one way to look at it😆 You make a good point: Each Enneagram type has different weaknesses, as well as different strengths. For 5s, I'd say it's not so much laziness, but more like stinginess with time -- they'll gladly work hard on their own project that they're interested in, but will avoid spending time on someone else's. 1s are pushy in some ways but not others -- they are not necessarily demanding about their own wants and needs, but they can be quite forceful when it comes to questions of right and wrong (which could be on matters as small as grammar or parking). But both types also have amazing strengths and gifts! I'll be doing more on that specifically, but if you're interested in 1s you might check out my "Perfectionist" video, and I have several videos about 5s you might enjoy. Thank you for enriching the discussion! 🤗

That's a great idea! I'd love to do all of the MBTI types eventually. For now, you might be interested in my INFP video, where there is a lot of overlap with INFJ (both are common MBTI types for Enneagram Type 4s). Thank you for watching and commenting! 🤗

The most annoying thing about being an INTJ, is people pretending to be this type because they think "The Mastermind" sounds cool. When in reality we share a lot of similarities to the symptoms of autism. I hate any communication outside of text, always wanted a best friend but never found one, conversation is taken literally, obsessed with knowledge but it's usually useless knowledge like how amazing it is that an electric car can accelerate instantaneously with the second you hit the pedal because it doesn't require a combustion ignition sequence (I'm a correctional officer, and I don't have an electric car), I can break things down to the most simplistic components to find out any possible angle for it's uses but can't remember the name of the person who just introduced themselves. I can have a conversation with someone but only after my mind creates an internal algorithm that fits the person I'm engaging with. Also it's involuntary. It's sit quiet for a few minutes listening, then out of nowhere it's like I passed the charisma check. But I have to be interested in talking to the person or it stays in the quiet step or I just up and leave. If it's a conversation with a religious zealot who would not change their mind no matter how much logic you throw, I just don't bother. (Unless I find it amusing, then I just ask obvious logical fallacies that are just difficult enough for the person to seriously believe that I want an opinion) sorry for ranting. I do love the key things that you pointed out. I definitely feel like a 5 versus a 1. I honestly didn't know that there were other differences outside of turbulent. But this explains why you can have two INTJ in the room but get a very different interaction from both. I'm very 'want to change the world because I see all the problems', but also that's entirely too much work and I don't have the energy for that or the patience for people who don't understand critical thinking or applying it to basic situations. Anyway, thank you for this. 😊

This is a great description of type 5 with so many good examples I love it!! I go into some of these ideas in my Secret Life of 5s video that you may find interesting 🙂 just like there are differences between two intjs in a room, there's also variation among 5s based on their subtypes! I'll be posting a video on that soon and I'm excited to hear your thoughts!! Thanks for sharing!🤗

And it's a great type to be!🤗 Both systems can be pretty complicated, but like you said, once you get all the elements to connect it can be very eye opening. And, of course, interesting to study, especially as a 5! Thanks so much for sharing and adding to the discussion!🤗

Lol im an intj 8w7. Does that mean there are more types than just 1 and 5?
@TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! You can have an enneagram 8 with almost any mbti (though some are more likely) this is because Mbti measures cognitive functions while the enneagram looks at internal motivations. So you can have the same cognitive functions with completely different enneagram motivations and vise versa😊. 8s tend towards E but there are some that score I as well. You may enjoy my ENTJ video as it goes into 8s more😊. Hope this is helpful! Thank you for sharing and helping to deepen our understanding!🤗

I’m an INTJ enneagram 8.
@TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Cool! There are lots of less common ways that Enneagram and MBTI types can combine. 8's tend to get an "E" on MBTI tests because they tend not to have social anxiety -- interactions with people are one of the many things that 8's are not fearful of! So, while they often describe not liking or wanting to spend time with people, they don't often describe anxiety around social interactions, which is one of the elements of introversion. Because of this, 8's can get an "I" on the MBTI test (as in INTJ), but it tends to be a less extreme "I", closer to the 50% mark. Thanks for sharing!

That's an unusual pairing. I'm an INTJ 5, but of course in integration 5's take on the traits of a healthy 8, which really rings true in my life.

Wow, I always thought I was an enneagram 5, because I can relate to it well, but now thanks to this video I am starting to question my type! I could relate to both enneagram 1 and 5 but enneagram 1 is often described as extremely organised in the physical world, and I could not really relate to that. I also could not relate to enneagram 5 because I am less reclusive than the typical 5.

I'm glad this video could start to shine light on the details and differences of each type! It can be hard to determine what our dominate type is, especially when they share similar traits. 1, 5 and 3 are all in the Competency Triad, sharing a need to be seen as capable, so they definitely share some things in common, at least on the surface (though the underlying motivation of each is really different!). It's great to stay curious about what drives us and continue learning and questioning! Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts!!

Could one of them just be a Sigma too? I'm a #5. Plus Sigma & Libra.
@TrueYouSystems10 ай бұрын
Interesting thought! I think either 1 or 5 could fit the Sigma archetype, depending on the individual in question. It seems like one of features of Sigma is low social (SO) stacking compared to SP and SX. For a full explanation of what all that means, you might check out my video on the 3 types of INTJ 5, where I go into some depth on instinct stacking (I'd love to hear your thoughts!). More generally, regarding Sigma, Alpha, Beta, etc., these are each broad categories and they don't cleanly line up with Enneagram (or MBTI) types, so you could have Sigmas who are 5, 4, 1, etc., for example, and 5s who are Sigma, Beta, Gamma, etc. I love that you're bringing another lens to look at people through, great to have your contribution to the discussion here! Thank you! 🤗

@@TrueYouSystems Thank you very much! There are videos on youtube on INTJ| Sigmas. But, I figure it out because I knew I was a INTJ. long before I heard about Sigma. Then, I just put 2+2 together. Alpha will have 'E' Traits. Possibly Beta. But, betas don't have self awareness & boundaries. Also, I doubt most of them are strategic thinkers. It's one of my traits. Looking at thing in a different light. I will look at the videos later it's getting late here.

@@TrueYouSystems Part two. I just watched a video that said "All sigmas have INTJ traits. But, not all INTJs are Sigmas." /// I haven't read into stacking. Just many abstracts & websites on traits of the MB types (I'm just a #5.LOL) So it new to me. I will watch the video.

@@TrueYouSystems Part 3. I watched it. Great video!! Very informative. Thanks. Great video. Always a lifetime learner. On My OP I was just using the two types in general. Part of SO is obsolete. Google replaced him/her. Yeah, I'm p&ssed about. Kinda put me out of the job of the know it all. I'm not sure about social stacking except concerning a meritocracy within a group. The video was a learning experience. But, I see things in systems. Every cog & how they relate to the overall from the janitors to the CEO. Even in in seen & unseen world of global politics. More of a pattern analysis.... As a reciprocate info. Here is a word I found out a week or so ago. 'Ambivert'. It is an overlap between Introvert & Extrovert. If you knew about it, no problem.

I have known for decades that I score in MBTI as INTJ (100% NT). I ignored the Enneagram paradigm until recently (because of Abbie Emmons, who recommends its use by authors). I concluded I was "1" in very short order. Most of this presentation confirms that intuition. I do have "5" traits, but they are more secondary and sporadic. Overall, I would say this analysis is above 90% in accuracy.
@TrueYouSystems Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Very high praise, indeed! (Also, I love the idea of using the Enneagram in writing fiction -- I'm checking out her video). Re non-dominant traits, "secondary and sporadic" is well put 👌
