I can agree with Ron on two things of this clip: 1.- not enough ppl have looked their dinner in the eyes and considered the circle of life. 2.- scouts should mainly teach you about how to really survive in the woods (although he could have made an ocasional game to keep the moral up)
@ianoneill83922 жыл бұрын
I’m an Eagle Scout and have worked at Scout camps. Scouts isn’t about survival skills, primarily or really much at all. That’s just not something that is at all relevant. Scouts is about teaching life skills. Chief among those being leadership. Camping and other outdoor activities simply serve as the catalyst. It puts the youths into a challenging situation where they need to work together to do well. And it’s fun. Because they’re still kids.

7:19 Man I miss that lake. I used to walk around it all the time. It's Lake Gregory in Crestline, CA. Beautiful forest there

The scotch Ron was drinking was from North Port Distillery which shut down in 1983. That scotch is closer to 60 years old and extremely valuable.

Imagine a murder mystery series set around the question of who killed Ron Swanson, where his gold is, and whether it's possible that his will to give his killer all his money was a motive and can legally be made a reality. This was a beautiful sendoff, regardless, because Ron loved life, even if he liked thinking about how it would end.
