those were the days when we applauded intellectuals and had a higher societal morality and consciousness and now in these present times, it all seems a beautiful dream from the past which we don't know when we will see again in future.

By saying, "Choose your parents well", he meant was that only this choice is not with us but we have all the choices when it comes to what we want to do with our lives. Sarcasm is sometimes hard to interpret, I guess.

The complete video of 25 great people speech is very much equivalent to a Holy book, the hard-work to success journey of these sages is filtered to a simple speech. I would definitely recommend these videos, to all the beings on this planet, to turn into humans.I watch this at least once in a week. if anybody is interested in spreading this public, I will surely join your campaign.

Aptly said -- intolerance when acquiesced by the society, is the worst form of violence as it hits the creative thinking and freedom of expression thereby throttling the democratic values.

OK! If I'm a Hindi man living in a small village of Uttar Pradesh then believe that Hindi is the only way to interact with me or pass your message. Discussing problem of India in a language which can be understood by only 10.35% Indian population ignoring whether other Indian are understanding or not. Does it make sense? Isn't this ignoring those leaders who're Hindi speaking because you're not involving them into discussion when they've capability of solving those social issues which cannot be solved by others?
@solankijimmy
@solankijimmy 10 жыл бұрын
Balraj Arpit Might as well make them all speak in almost all the languages that there are. Rather, they should be allowed to make speeches in whatever language they would like to and then they may be dubbed over or may be given subtitles. What about those without television or electricity? I guess they don't matter, do they? Anyhow, what involvement do you expect out of this programme? It doesn't mean a thing really.

Jimmy Solanki I agree, their video should be dubbed but it's not going to happen. Just wanted to draw attention of those successful people who're organizing these kind of great events that please when you're hosting to reach out the whole nation then please stick to the national language else your event will remain successful on stage and digitally but failed in reality. There are millions of young people wanted to get inspired but they're struggling from language. This is what I've learned from an IAS officer. "Hame Hindi ki samajh hai, bolna aur likhna bhi aata hai lekin fir kyu Bharat me rah k muje jagah nhi mil pa rha? Angrezi to videshi bhasha hai aur mai Videsh me nhi, fir kyu har koi mujse Angrezi ki khoj karta hai?" - from a young man from village of India.

Then why just talk about Hindi? There are loads and loads of regional languages, there are loads of people who are more comfortable in speaking English than they are speaking Hindi. Most people from the North East states prefer English to Hindi as a second language. So why just Hindi? And what is 'swadeshi' and 'videshi'? Stop nationalising issues unnecessarily. Its no longer foreign, we have a long history of English people here, its a part of the culture all over the world now. Still I agree that regional languages should get a lot more recognition than they do right now. Also you've missed the entire point of these events. They are not done to do any real good whatsoever. They don't give two shits about what happens to the common people. Do you think Mukesh Ambani gives a damn? This is all to show off, to feel good for the rich and the powerful, to put up a show. Still, I appreciate this because Vikram Seth didn't ask for this and made the best use of the situation.

mutual respect in Hinduism is much better than just tolerance of christianity. Mr Vikram seth is just repeating what his white masters preached him. If you take any invasion in history of India since 1000 AD, the invader after occupying the land, created good cops and bad cops. But both types work for the invader or the occupier. People like vikram seth belong to bad cop category who push the agenda of his white masters openly. Good cops would look like talking in favor of the occupied people to gain their trust but do things on terms of the occupier to push their hidden agenda of divide and rule. eg of good cops - Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Mahatma Gandhi, Ambedkar and Annie Besant and Madame Blavatsky. Nehru was also a good cop through his lady master Edwina Mountbatten (Rothschild family member). Nehru caused more damage before and after independence. This good cop and bad cop strategy still continues due to implant of fabricated theories of the west (Socialism, Communism and their product in the form of so called secularism which was created against the Church) on the minds of mentally colonized people of post independence India.
