Yeah they used a diffrent animation studio for Robins Story.....and i believe they even animated one of the better One Piece Movies! Her story i liked the most.....while all was more comedic and silly, her's is more sad and tragic!😢😢❤

About the reason good natured marines like Koby works for the WG. You must remember, the world of One Piece is in the age of Pirates. There are bunch of pirates roaming the seas. You must know the nature of pirates. They are plunderers, m*rderers, conquerors, and etc. We just happened to follow the Strawhat crew which is just an anomaly amongst pirates. Do you remember in Sabaody when Zoro helped an injured man (shot by Celestial dragon)? Jewelry Bonney's comment to Zoro "What? A pirate helping a civilian?". For most pirates are notorious. And those are the type Koby and other good marines want to protect the civilians from. No other big organization can give them tools, funding and access to help those in need other than the WG.

They def all got sent somewhere they needed to be in one way or another. Robins is by far the best story with zoro and nami and franky right behind. The bridge in robins episode is impoortant. It’s not so much that Ace feels defeated, it’s that he doesn’t want his friends and family to die for him.

Something a lot of people miss about Franky's location is that Karakuri island (where Baldimore lies) isn't only relevant to Dr. Vegapunk but also to another lesser known but very important scientist: Dr. Tsukimi. I'm sure the cover story he's from is due to be expanded upon in the final saga, since I can't see Oda leaving the mystery of Birka unsolved.

Official subs are so odd. They really need to redo these better imo. Glad youre so far ahead that we can all collectively point and laugh at "father" being used here. It feels so machine translated. Its not technically wrong, it just feels wrong compared to "pops" :D
