What nintendo needs to understand is throughout gaming there have always been glitches. From pinball to ps5. Nintendo is usually the hardest but it's always been up to the end user to choose to use them or not. If it's not online play, what's the big deal? They bought your end product. While I appreciate the tenacity for quality, it's no longer the devs problem at this point. Especially considering they made dev tools part and parcel to the games story line. It's OK nintendo. Let them have fun.

I think what you're missing is that Nintendo is one of the best marketers out there. The fan base is a large part of their marketing strategy. If you go back to the Nintendo Power days you'll understand this even better. Back then a large part of the alure was finding new secrets and sharing them. This was huge among gamers of that time. That's one thing that made their games stand out from the rest. So, the modern secrets go beyond normal game play and into glitch territory. By patching out these glitches they are encouraging (challenging) us to find new ways. This leads to more videos and posting about the game. There's also the fact that some of the glitches are very easy at first. This can lead to some players ruining their own experience. The quest for items can lead to discoveries that otherwise may not have happened or will happen later in your game when it's no longer special.

when I try the zoggle I cant get the wuggle to work, every time I try to wuggle te target item it just falls to the ground but both shields do disappear. I tried doing it with different weapons and shields, different timing but it I just cant get it to work does anyone have any tips?

The thing with video game glitch-fix patches is that they usually target the method rather than the root cause. So while all of the then-known ways of executing the glitches were patched, new methods to achieve the same effects have since been found.

I don't remember if the video mentioned this or not, but the culled state persists through saves. I tried the dupe glitch with stick culling, and when I tried to reload a save before I was culled, I still had the side effects of being culled. Leaving the game seemed to fix these issues.

thats not the culled state per se. im pretty sure youre talking about model teleport desync which is just a side effect of stick culling. watching a memory also gets rid of it

These were super fun to do! Any idea how to FE a spring using this method? I tried the normal way, but the spring kept disappearing. I then tried standing on top of a sideways hover stone at akkala ruins (based on the comment about large items clipping the ground), and a tiny spring started hovering in the air with that same spring fused to my shield base. Shield jumping immediately killed the spring. I was wanting to FE and jump on the spring shield over and over like I've done with the like-like stick culling FE method. Really appreciate you putting all of this together for everyone @Suishi, fantastic work! 🎉

If you found the small spring is rotated at the same way as the shield if it was fused to links shield but if you move it stays there, that means you got very unlucky as that happens a small amount of time. All you have to do is retry at akala citadel

why(for the zoggle) when i fuse my shield A to my target weapon normally it just fuse it to my shield

For the first step you need te cold fuse a shield to the target weapon not the other way around, if you fuse the target weapon to the shield it later fuses normally like you said. This might not be the only explanation but this is something I messed up a couple times.

Like stated in the video, the Target Item needs to be in the culling area. The item will cull when link enters the outer margins. What target item are you trying to use?

the biggest difference is that cold fuse has a weaker connection (more or less) and it doesnt consume the fuse slot on the base item like with fuse entanglement, which lets us chain items together by fuse entangling/cold fusing a cold fuse base (this is how we achieve zoggle)

The guide is very in-depth, but it's not clear why you'd want to perform any of these glitches; what's even weirder is that the video CLEARLY expects the viewer to have 0 knowledge of basic concepts (and thus, explains them), but then expects the viewer to know what to do with these glitches. It's not immediately obvious that most of these have the end goal of getting a Zuggle, and even if it was, some people just don't know what Zuggle is useful for.

@@Nediakubes it’s the easiest one for shields/bows. Step 1 for shields: stand anywhere where theres flat ground. step 2: drop 10+ bows and weapons. Step 3: without unpausing drop the target shield and equip any other shield. Step 4: unpause, then, try to open the rune menu as fast as possible after closing the inventory and choose the map. Step 5: open your inventory and load any save. After that, your target shield should be zuggled (this only works for 1 zuggle). For bows, repeat the same as for shields but drop 10+ shields and weapons instead of bows.
