I have a node (W/O external antennas) approximately 7,387 feet (2,251 meters) away from the gateway. The ETX is 349 for the link. The node is 320 feet (97 meters) higher than the gateway, with a clear line of sight. The node has been installed for a bit over a month, however the ETX has been steady. I didn't plan for this link to be this long, there are other nodes which it could connect to, closer to the node and have clear line of sight.

Jeff, sounds like it is working then? That is a pretty tremendous distance!

You mentioned that you can see the "...health metrics slowly degrading..." over time. I would like to see the health metrics over time as well, however I can only see the metrics at the instant I look at them. How about adding a graph with the ETX (and cell RSSI), kind of like the ISS signal reception graph in the old WeatherLink software?

How do I add a co2 sensor to Davis Have a Davis pro 2
@davisinstruments4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, The simplest way (and the only way at this point) to add a CO2 sensor to your system would be to use an EnviroMonitor IP Gateway (6805) + an EnviroMonitor Node (6810). You would then be able to add up to four sensors to the Node (one or all could be CO2 sensors). The Gateway will listen to the Node and your Vantage Pro2. You could add additional Nodes to the system as needed. You would view the data on WeatherLink.com and on the Davis Mobilize app. Here is a link to all of the sensors we currently support on EnviroMoniotr: www.davisinstruments.com/product_documents/weather/EM-sensors.pdf
