Ii was completely focused on the fabric and function, then fit was tough because i have big thighs ( i always end up buying jeans that are one size bigger, plus I couldn't find a good tailor to do the alterations). Thank you for this great video !

I'm from Indonesia. Last year I lost 66 lbs, from 231 lbs to 165 lbs. But only yesterday I wore the perfect size shirt & trousers for my new body size for work, after for months before that I wore cheap re-tailored ones from my big size time. Wearing perfect fit size shirt & trousers is really comfortable. Your pyramid of style proven!

Good point about dressing to fit the occasion, and not way overdress. I went to a private high school and I remember the headmaster repeatedly saying something like that. "You always wanna dress a cut above the place your going" like imagine how the average person will be dressed at the event or place your going out to and just dress one notch up from that, but no more.

Never shop at stores, start at home, then try to find it, it makes it much harder. But the outcome is much better when you actully decide first what is your top priorities. Just upgraded my t-shirt missing hole. In teory I can buy a sheep one, but when I tried it there where no 100% cotton fair trade ones. No right size, modell, best cotton and right color. The one I have is a bit thight but polyester stretchy, and it has some kind of thin stripes I do not like, far from US made but it was probably $12, but I kind of hate it, but it is my only longsleved t-shirt right now. I toke the time and had one custom made insted 5 times as expensive, but rather that then the missing hole. I only need like 10 different ones and I know am totaly covered.

One thing i see missing that i ponder. Suits are not all overdressing , example i have fun suits in blue, pink, and also linen suits. I dont consider all suits overdressing... a overdress would be a double breasted pin stripe in non bisiness setting.. then i cam see how that is over dressed to some ppl... but otherwise suits are mens fashion , ties and linen suits colorful wool blend suits are great everyday. Its what i enjoy! I always get compliments on my ties to.. they are not just for business. I dont believe in overdress never know who you mj ight meet. Doesnt mean im throwing a suit on to the grocery.. but if im going out for lunch dinner shopping and drinks im wearing a fun suit or blazer combo. Its much easier as well if i need to hit a emergency meeting or meet a client when im out.

I am going to a wedding soon and am working on building my first suit outfit. The wedding is formal but not black tie. I have a (maybe micro weave or the like) grey suit, a solid white shirt, and black shoes, belt, and tie. I'm trying to decide what kind of pocket square to use. I am looking at white ones and black and white ones with stripes or dots or contrasting lining. I also had an idea to actually make one out of a black and white shemagh but this would be pretty casual as shemaghs are a loose cotton pattern. Do you think the shemagh pocket square is a bad idea and what would you recommend.

I think it's good advice if you have a career, but if you just have a regular job no one cares, as clothes don't maketh the man. Steve Jobs wore the same clothes all the time and did it make any difference? If you have a good job and feel you're on the way up and go to social functions conected with work go for it, otherwise I'd say wear what you feel comfortable with. You"ll feel better with better quality clothes that fit well.Chino's in summer cords in winter dependant on location. I think personality and mindset is probably more important for sucess in life. Don't associate with loosers, or look like them.
