Nah, in my experience with "average teenage boys" they might use that spray as a thin excuse to not actually bathe. I've known a few too many guys who seemed to think showering themselves in Axe Body Spray was a viable substitute to showering with actual soap and water...

I have no idea how humanity made do before deodorant was invented. Yes, people were thinner in the past, so they stunk less, but everyone's armpits are sweaty after a few hours of going about.

The same way every single house with a cat stinks. You get used to the smell. Look up the early marketing of Febreeze and the difficulty they had selling it at first because they were a pet deodorizer product. Pet owners universally don't think their houses stink.

@@johnsoapmactavish9921 I think what he meant to say was every persons house with a free roaming pet has an odor.. However the level of bad or good is subjective and most pet owners have no concept of the difference compared to those without pets. It can be quite jarring the first few minutes going into a pet owners home. Never been to a house with pets that i couldnt smell from the front door.
