How do you pick Medium or Large Tomo Keels? Is it based on Revo Max size?
@keffdog1252 ай бұрын
Wave size and rider size. Bigger surf smaller fins, bigger surfer bigger fins. So find your combo. I’m 185 lbs and won’t go to mediums until it’s head high and pumping

Everyone is different. But it usually comes down to Type of Waves Where you surf the board from , close to the tail, a little further up and not pushing off on the tail. Type of waves It becomes a personal thing also We have guys that are pushing 190 that are always get med fins and some that are 150 and usually get large. Weight is just as recommendation from the fin manufactures. Sorry I wish I can just tell you the size but from experience it's all over the place. If you like email / text us and we can try to point you in the right direction - David Tel/Text 808-597-9055 email sales@hawaiiansouthshore.com
They say twinnies are harder on the backhand. Is this true. Never rode one but notice all vids are people surfing frontside. Cheers

I dont think so...I have an El Tomo Twin and I rode that for 3 years I liked it both front and back side. I think it's important to draw different lines than your thruster or a 2+1. Most of the twins are not set up to Surf top the bottom so you need to stay more of the top 3/4 of the wave. With this Revo Max with the channels according to Mark on this video it doesn't slide out so you can surf it more top to bottom and not worrying about ti sliding out. - David

The hardest thing about this board would be to size it correctly. Correct me if I’m wrong but you’d probably lose that mid length feel if it was too close volume wise, compared to your current short board. And the longer you went the more you’d lose in performance. I’m on a 6’0 34.7l and would be tossing up between the 6’3 and 6’6. The 6’6 would make more sense.

@@MH_347 That's a really good question, I didn't even even think of that. Im going to ask Mark and I'll get back to you on that. - David

@@MH_347 Mark got back to me "I think the 6/6 is good for his middy style and float. But to rip the 6/3 would be great. Even though it’s close to his liters it will still have more lift and drive. Longer rail line and wider throughout out the whole board." Let me know if you want one I can get it dropship to you form our cali warehouse. - DAvid Also any accessories is 15% off.

Tomo rips but this board looked kind of sluggish under his feet.
