Is it possible to adjust the auto shut off time? I can't find anyway to adjust it from the default 10 seconds. When I try to connect it to my phone it sometimes fails to connect because the camera shuts off so fast.

Hi there. Are there any surfing accessories for it and is the lens cover water repelling?

So I used it a couple of times on the river kayak fishing and it worked pretty well. Couple things though 1. We need a mini mic adapter or at very least enable the promic adapter. 2. Allow the auto power off to be set. Not all situations are good with a 8 second power off. I like to sync my hat cam (the mini) to the front can and it's easier if I have both on and press the record at same time. The quick capture is nice but needs to be user selectable from at least the labs firmware. Even a labs qr code to set auto power off would be good 👍

Just bought and returned for a few reasons. One, I cant see what I'm videoing. I was hoping to at least see the video through the app on my phone as it was videoing. Also, I ordered the enduro battery and it doesn't even fit the mini. Im going to go with the bigger one. Guess I should have researched better.

How to reconnect to the GoPro mini after I turn off the camera or restart the Quick app? When I do this, the app cannot connect to the GoPro again. I have to remove the camera and re-bind it again.

Does removal of the bottom Mounting Fingers affect waterproofness or heat dissipation? If I plan to only mount it using the rear fingers on the back of the camera, can I unscrew the bottom fingers for a little extra weight savings? (perhaps the fingers are so lightweight that this isn't worth it, but still curious)

Hi Andrew 👋 The fingers can be removed without impacting the waterproofness of the camera. The weight of each set of fingers + screws is 7.3g, so the weight of HERO11 Black Mini without both set of fingers is 118.4g. Hope this helps 👍

@@jinmoon1703 I did get it , it’s been gr8 .. Although you are absolutely correct, there is has been an issue with it freezing a couple of times . You know when it’s doing it the red light stays on but screen is blank . If you hold buttons for over ten seconds and do a reboot it kicks back on . On mines it happened when it was charging . But not done it for a while after updates .. So hopefully that’s it fixed . 👍

No. Mini does not support Media Mod nor 3.5mm Pro Mic Adapter. If you need the capability to plug in an external mic, take a look at HERO11 Black with Media Mod or the 3.5mm Pro Mic Adapter.

I bought this camera in December and it arrived in January, it turned on and off by itself. They exchanged it for another one and it takes 20 seconds to turn on and once it stops recording it turns off by itself and you have to press the button again for 20 more seconds.

mini isnt small enough. for $50 more you can regular hero 11, so you can change out batteries, and have 2 screens to line up shots. if the mini was smaller like the session or at least had a removable battery so you can record all day without stopping to charge.

Time-lapse is the worst. Nothing worse than recording a video for 50 minutes only to find out your 50-minute video is a 2 minute Time-lapse. Please remove Time-lapse and photos from the power button for your cameras Please 🙏
