Im very excited about this product! I just started formulating my my own cosmetic skin care, This device looks like a really convenient way to streamline my process! What all is included with the purchase of this product? Would the hose/EO separator need to be purchased separate? Also, is there a guide provided, or available for purchase for using different herbs?

Hi, yes, ADI is tailored for supporting herbal products development. The ADI comes with a 1 liter herb steamer and the cover. Tubing and oil separator set are separate products need to be purchased. There will be instructions in the package and more videos coming out about how to use to extract different herbs.

also: as far as the steam distillation feature: for the plant compartment, about how small can the plant/herb matter be without it falling through the holes and into the water chamber below? for example, should i avoid using dried plant matter as small as say the green tea found in green tea bags? thanks

What temperature does the infused oil process at?

It is 65-70 C (149 - 158F).

Hello! Is it possible to change the temperature? I use more delicate oils like jojoba and like to keep the temperature at 100 F max for a much longer period of time. I would like to know if that is possible with this machine. Thanks!

Hi, Dr. Leo! How practical do you think it would be to make a smaller amount of hydrosol, say 1 or 2 dl; or for example if I want to use only 50g of lavender. Is it somehow feasible?

Yes, you can use 50g lavender buds for smaller batches distillation.

Hi Dr Leo, how do you clean the cooling coil after making hydrosol? Is it detachable?

It has a cleaning procedure with white vinegar. Vinegar steam can go through the tube and clean it.
