Right now there is not a lot of confidence in the Loveland police department. After what happened with Karen Gardner, and other incidences in the city people are weary. We are hoping you will change the dynamic of this police department and build trust between the citizens in the city and the police department. Right now there’s a lot to be repaired. I hope you’re up to the task.

Let's just come up with some ridiculous visions and missions with a "We are The World" fluff, and ignore the recent criminal activities your precious department and city manager have perpetrated. Good luck accomplishing anything with your blinders on. It took you months to dream up new visions; how long will it take to produce valid changes?

Question… Were officers Matt Sychla, Jeremiah Wood and Evan Dunlop, not only fired, but have charges of assault of a minor and animal cruelty levied against them? Because it seems to me THAT should be your priority, not simply changing your slogan. I’d hate to have your job, trying to reform a PD where the officers hang small dogs by the neck by their leashes and tase a father so he has to helplessly watch his 14 year old daughter and his pet be absolutely brutalized.

And.... There was no complaint. The boyfriend didn't even press charges. They claimed the Colorado law of separating parties in a DV call but... They were already separated. So these pigs just love hurting people so they go find her, beat up her dad and choke the dog all in the name of peace and justice.

We now know you're full of hot air. Stating that the LPD is full of true professionals who serve honorably. Yep, ask Karen Gardner or Derrick Groves or the 14 y/o girl you gave a concussion to, or the family puppy your officer shot, or the good Samaritan your officers roughed up for pulling a motorcycle off a guy who fell just how honorable your police force is. You need to hold ALL officers accountable and quit making excuses for the ones who not only consistently use excessive force and bad judgement while failing to deescalate. You also need to hold accountable the ones who just stand there and watch. Until then your police department will never be respected.

Offenders: Officer Austin Hopp Officer Daria Jalali Officer Tyler Blackett Victim: Karen Garner Lets not forget the number of videos on youtube showing your officers repeatedly using excessive force and committing animal cruelty. Many times the officers resigned so nothing was done. This allows them to start over in a new department until they get busted again only to move on once more. How about from now on you prosecute the officers as viciously as you would a normal person. Edit: I don't even live in Colorado and keep hearing horror stories about your police department.
