I greatly appreciate this video and the acknowledgment of the lack of prior transparency, even though the information is all public, this way is easily digestible. I'd really like to see a video breaking down the General Fund. Specifically, a breakdown of each of the services and where the funds go within each of them, basically how they spend the money. When the general fund shortfall was made public, I did take a precursory look at the budget and it seems quite easy to cut the required spending of ~$13m to balance the budget. Not so much wasteful spending, but spending/subsidizing that the city shouldn't be doing in the first place. Granted that's a personal opinion, but I think collectively, it should be pretty easy to determine the services that should be cut or reduced to cover the shortfall.

Yeah, she's a bit loopy, but she wasn't hurting anyone. The 2nd cop was just awful. Completely out of control, very intimidating, and didn't help the situation at all.

You’re lying. She was not in the roadway , she was in a parking lot devoid of sidewalks. She was harmlessly singing aloud. Your officers needed to leave her alone, instead they escalated the situation to the point this mentally ill woman lost it. The nurse knowing she was dealing with a sick woman chose to drop all professionalism and knowledge and took off offended by a benign spit that never touched her. She, as a professional, should have stepped in and calmed down the victim thus de escalating the situation. Notice I called the woman a victim because that is what she is, a victim of over zealous policing frequently resulting in violations of civil rights as well as physical harm to innocent citizens. You need to do better and if you can’t, step aside. Hand the reins to someone that can.
