Introducing the 20" HHX Dominator China

Dom Famularo was synonymous with SABIAN, sharing our passion for artistry, dedication to craft, and family. In that spirit, we’re thrilled to honor our longtime friend and partner with the new 20" HHX Dominator China. 🥁 Along with the Dominator, we're adding the 18" AAX Rocktagon and 22" HHX Tempest to our permanent catalog today. All three cymbals are now available for order at your music retailer of choice!

Sensational. The china is a wonderful nod to Dom, even if it’s redundant in their catalogue. That being said, the rocktagon is vibey as hell, and the tempest is something by Sabian needs dearly, if they’re gonna stay relevant with today’s drummers wanting bigger and thinner and more versatile cymbals.

I remember seeing Dom for the first time on a Sabian artist vhs tape i purchased in the early 9O's... Doms flare and smile behind the kit was so inspiring! Great tribute cymbal!!! Gil Moore from Triumph plays those octagon cymbals i think on their Sport of Kings live performance from the eighties! 👍👍

I believe Sabian makes the best chinas hands down but the prices guys. You gotta bring those down. The stratus line was one of the best introductions in awhile. Great sounding cymbals that are about as expensive as most your lines should be. You’re going to end up pricing yourself out of the market.

Sabians are fairly priced, but its also region specific. If you feel you're paying too much at MSRP, talk to your distributor.

Oh the eighties! I remember Jeff "Tain" Watts had the rocktagon as part of his huge cymbal setup with Wynton Marsalis. Great comeback.

Dom Famularo was a BEAST on the drums. I saw him live back in 2007, and to this day, I haven't heard a drummer play double bass as powerfully as he has without needing any triggers or post-processing. He will be sorely missed, and I'm glad you're honoring his memory by adding a "Signature" cymbal for him.
