That's the main reason I bought an accord coupe over the current TLX. I can still have a v6 with a manual transmission, it's also way cheaper. This new car is so beautiful however. Also the 10 speed is a great transmission. Might be my next honda upgrade..

@@robles100 It might be really good. If they program it aggressively. The 2.0T accord shifts really well and gets to 60 in about 5.7ish seconds, with only 270 hp, compared to the TLXs 355.

If Lexus doesn't want to be in the sport sedan market then it should just get out. 10 years for the current IS is ridiculous.

Ive been a Honda guy for over 20 years. I almost left this earth last month due to a heart attack at 48 years old with a wife and 2 kids. I am morbidly obese (350 lbs on 5' 10" frame). Exactly! Since the 2.0l is a defined civic type r I think you could tune it to get 0-60 from like 5.2-5.4secs 0-60 which makes me hype for the type s!! Coming at us with 355hp and a twin scroll turbo🤤 4.6secs 0-60 is a high possibility! But a slight tune without breaking the car could take it to 4.2secs I think ugh can’t wait for it to be revealed in a few months!!

I guess it’s the new reality with 4 bangers, but front wheel drive 4cylinder doesn’t scream sport sedan. Only time will tell the reliability of these engines. As long as I can, I will stick to 6cylinder engines. The 4s are a huge turn off. You can literally hear these cars struggle. They just can’t compare to an inline 6 or V6 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ted Tedness the type-s is an all New ACURA Exclusive 3.0 V6 DOHC with a Single Twin Scroll Turbo. That should make at least 350 hp. But Acura is not releasing the stats till later. You cant even buy the type-s till 2021. but the 2.0L 4 cylinder is coming out this year.

Wow! Acura is back to what it should be: the reliability and tech of a honda and the passion and high end "passionate" sport prowess an Alfa Romeo. They even gave some power to the back wheels! This is the Canyon carving halo car Acura has been lacking for the last 10 years. I only wish they had the guts to implement that high-tech racing hybrid system the spent so much R&D on with the NSX. Especially if your shifter is just comprised of a bunch of buttons, you might as well take advantage of the low end torque and the possibility of better fuel economy than a 2005 Dodge Ram.

This car is amazing. My first car was Acura TL and now driving tsx and I might say, I will never drive any brand other than Acura. No matter what car I rent or drive, I always want to go back to Acura’s. The design of this Acura is amazing. In all honesty, I hated the last 10 years of Acura design because it vehicles looked overweight and screamed "PLASTIC!" The styling is much more refined, but ever so potent. I like it a lot. I wasn't into Acuras before, but now y'all got a new convert!

I have a close to 500 whp (not stock) Kia Stinger GT. I'm VERY tempted to replace it with this masterpiece. I'm just waiting to see some power figures. I assume with a TT V6, we are looking at 350-400 stock?

This model is Gorgeous, it really is beautiful and it is exactly what I want from a sports sedan (Visually). Hope it will have the Performance. All in all, Acura has nailed it 👌

I don't know why people are saying "their back" they aren't, days are long gone of old Honda Acura. They will never be the same, we will never be able to re-experience what we did over 25 years ago, with light weight coupes and hatches, high revving engines that roared with life in the higher RPMS the VTEC Cracks. Just hearing everything. Hopefully one day it will happen but for now I will hold on onto my old Integra, my old ej2 b16 civic, and my 8th gen SI sedan.

@@angelgjr1999 I heard from a credible acura source that it's supposed to be over 400 horsepower for the 3L. Bearing in mind that 2 litre turbo with a tuner can produce over 300hp

Great overall look but the tail lights don't quite match the aggressive front. They look muted and subdued compared to the rest of the car. It's like they were taken off the Chevy SS and updated... They also evoke a bit of KIA Stinger with that edge leading into the rear quarter panels.

I can not believe it... There was an Acura dealership infront of my high school and every day I would see that Type S TL and V6 TSX sitting on this large podium everyday. Acura to me was equal to those Ferrari and Lambo synthwave posters on every teenager's wall. Now they are back and I think they just made hands down the best sports sedan ever. Can't wait to see the 2021 MDX and the crossover Type S.

I’ve got a 2020 RDX Aspec. Gray with red leather. Fantastic vehicle. Glad to see they’ve added a digital speedometer to the dash. That’s one thing I really wish mine came with.

The surfacing is aggressive, makes it look like a sort of Mustang GT looking Sedan. Designers did a great job with the surfacing and line work on the vehicle 👍🏽

The RDX looks like a Honda. This new TLX finally looks standalone Acura and premium. The sedan has a design that could look amazing in coupe form. Bye bye Infiniti. Acura is going to sell a lot of these.

Loving the return of the Type-S and double wishbone suspension (that was in my 2003 Type-S). Currently in a 15 SH-AWD but will upgrade when it’s ready and fully baked. I only wish there was a Sport Hybrid (spin the NSX) instead of SH-AWD.

This is going to be new bench mark for this segment. As current owner of 03 and 19 NSX. This is in my opinion most exciting car from Acura/Honda since S2000, you guys hit it way out of ballpark. You guys gonna dominate this segment. Amazing job!!
