I think this is a great product but this is one of the issues with it.Ukulele players complain about guitar and guitar complain about ukelele. Can't we agree these look cool as hell and probable play great too.

I think it would be great if Fender release actual electric ukes with single coil pickups and steel strings. My favorite ukulele that I own is my Fender Montecito. Beautiful looks and sound. I hope that one day they will make something similar to the Vorson and Risa electric ukes so I can add another fender to my collection.

@@jonneet2126 I have one. It’s fun but ultimately not great. At least mine. And I’m sure that other people have different experiences and maybe it’s just a QC issue but on mine the pickups sound pretty bad. One of them barely picks anything up and the other sounds really tinny. It’s still fun to play with but not what I was hoping for. i may end up modding it at some point with better hardware.

No one mentioned the price. Here in Germany it's 199 € and in the USA $199.00 that's not a bad price at all. And that it has a built in tuner and pickup is more than most ukeleles i have looked at at double the price. It's affordable for me to get one and see if i enjoy playing one. I have a Fender Acoustasonic 15 Amp so hopefully I can play it using that, but i also have a Marshall Code 25 Amp but i think you shouldn't play an acoustic uke on an E-guitar amp? That pedal he's using costs over 250€ here so if hold off on that. But maybe get another of these nice Ukeleles in another shape variation. This is exciting for me, next after the Ukelele comes a Banjo and then a Saz (Bağlama).
