As with anything labeled EMP, this is another fine pistol constructed of fine unobtainium. I’ve been looking for a Springfield EMP 4 for 2 years. Then the Ronin came out and I set my search for a 4.25” Ronin 9mm. Nada! So now I get to move my hopes to the Ronin EMP 4. We’ll see. It’ll be my best luck to finally find a EMP 4, but I must just be in the wrong area for Springfield 1911s.

I found the 3" at Vizards, but I want the 4" for capacity and for less muzzle flip. It seems a lot of the good stuff takes its time getting to the free state of Ohio (Constitutional Carry just passed our Senate).

I'm using a Galco for a Kimber 4" Pistol, works great for me!

Can you please tell me the proper pistol selection for the Galco Concealable holster? They do not show the Ronin EMP 4" as an option.

According to Galco, it is Untested, but if you pick the Concealable Holster for the 4" Kimber, you should be fine!!

Back in the day, they made a Black Anodized Frame and SS Slides, but I guess they didn't sell well and got discontinued. Now, the Two Tone is Black Slide with Silver Anodized Frame. You might be able to find a Stainless Slide in the Used Market

Ronin grip width is the same as the emp4?

There's a couple of versions of each, the EMP4 has a Bobbed Tail, the Ronin does not. The EMP4 is no longer on the Lineup, It's not on the website!! There is a 3" Ronin and a 4" Ronin!! The 3" Guns have a 9 Round Capacity, the 4" gun have a 10 Round Capacity.

Hey can you tell me what the width of the pistol is? Ive looked at spec sheets all over the web and cant find it anywhere, i emailed springfield asking them but nothing back.....I dont understand why they would leave this out of the specs,width is one of those things a lot of people who carry iwb are concerned with. I had the same problem with the girsan 1911sc, no info anywhere on width, puzzling.

Hijo, You should ask Marty if he can mill that EMP Ronin for an Optic like the Holosun 407k x2G. Old eyes doncha know. ;-) And y'all should also talk about what upgrades you might suggest for the Springfield SA-35. The C&S trigger kit is a good start. What else? My son just got one over the weekend.

@@yrsued Not much different than the original. I happen to have a Browning that I haven't upgraded at this point. The SA-35 was very similar. But no where near what a C&S kit will do to improve that trigger. The EMP RONIN is still selling at a @200-$350 premium wherever I have looked. I may wait for those to come down to MSRP before digging much deeper on one. I did send a Wilson EDC X9 to have it cut for the Holosun. Should be back next week. :-) I will be in touch as I think I'll be in The Valley in Jan for a few days

What Hollowpoints?? Because I only use HST and I've had nothing but reliability from it!! HST is what most police Departments use, so that's what I use.

But Llama sucks and they are pretty much impossible to get and quality was NEVER there!! You get one of them and it breaks, you're SOL, you get one of these and you have an issue, you are only a Phone call away from getting it working again!! Your choice!!
