if they are smart, they can make 200k$ worth of cars for road users. Red bull can be more than just a drink company with an F1 team that occasionally do track cars. Their partners Oracle have enough capabilities for software side if they ever wish to pursue more things

@@JohnAbrahamsen meh. That is open for debate as to how much was RB and how much was aston martin. From what I've heared from the people at Aston, they were, at the very least, seriously impressed with what the team at redbull came up with. The manufacturing process was ofcourse their responsibility. The Valkyrie was not all Newey by the way, it was an effort from the younger designers at RB supervised by the godfather. He does not claim the Valkyrie as his project. It very much was a group effort.

The car in the video is the Aston Martin Valkyrie. It was developed with input from Adrian Newey and RB Racing at the beginning. The RB17 hasn't been designed yet, but it will probably follow a similar design language of basically being an F1 car with headlights

One year later, I realize something: The RB17 shares a striking resemblance in the side view to the Valkyrie, and the Valkyrie was designed from the ground up to race in LMH. It has the two huge wheel wells. It has the small and bubbly cockpit. It has the open side intake. All are traits shared by LMH/LMDh cars. I wonder if Red Bull is designing the RB17 with the intent to enter Le Mans under the LMH regulations. It most certainly sends both possible and likely, since why else would they make a hypercar?

Red bull always seems to surprise me. They are such an young team but yet full of fire and excitement. I love how to promote their company as energy drink and yet they are able to keep the work environment so fresh and they are always pushing and pushing the boundaries of technology. I’m a Mercedez fan but love what red bull and respect what they have achieve in such short period of time.

Mate if you want an affordable car with f1 technology buy one of the late 80s early 90s civics. Wishbone suspension and vtec came straight out of f1 in normal road cars Today the only car with f1 tech is a 2 million dollar hypercar you won't even see irl. If you want something a bit more fun buy a e30 m3. The motor design is based on the f1 4 cylinder boosted motor beamer made for brabham.

Red Bull is so much more than a fizzy drinks company. Just imagine all the technology that has come out of all their sporting involvements. Cutting-edge research with real-world applications. The RB17 must have lots of clever active aero as there's no rear wing. Now can I have one? Ready to trade for my Golf GTI 😉😁
