If you want it to actually make power you need to convert the carb to blow through and make a large chamber in the charge tube to hold pressurized air. Single cylinder engines have to have a a decent volume of air available via a large tank or chamber or else the intake stroke sucks all the pressurized air out of the charge tube and there is no exhaust pulse to keep the turbo building boost.

Once the turbo gets back from the machine shop we should be able to get it dialed in with some of the things you’re talking about. We are keeping draw through set up but Changing up the entire set up!

Bro, that is sick. I have a Pit Pro 140cc 2007 and the thing absolutely rips. So much fun on the trails. Love this turbo build

Thanks man I appreciate that! And I know right! I almost have more fun on the tiny bikes than I do the 250’s haha

The pressurised tank and carb isnt required for draw theough, the extra air that the turbo consumes draws extra fuel naturally.

It’s been a big learning curve trying to pull this off and I want to thank you for sharing information like this! Since the video I’ve basically scratched the entire set up I’ve had and sent the turbo off to have a carbon seal installed along with putting together everything I’ve learned about it so far. So on the next video it will be a new set up and we will get it dialed in! Thanks again for interest and good info! Keep watching for the new build!

I had the same issue on a little 100 CC bike kit that I built. Everything worked perfectly until I would attempt to attach a headlight. As soon I would connect the light, the bike would either die or shut off if I attached it while I was running. It was like the light somehow became the kill switch as soon as the bike wire touched the positive on the light. I never did figure it out! I bought the bike for $50 and the engine kit for $80 and sold it built for $350. At that point I was more happy with the $220 profit then I was concerned with the non working headlight. Anyway, great video! I did skip through a bit of the B-roll footage at the beginning, I felt like after a certain amount of time I had seen enough of the bike and just wanted to get to the action but still great job! I subbed and will be back to watch more videos. Thanks!

Hopefully we can get the wiring figured out and maybe we can both learn something from it! And good deal on pulling a profit from it! Not many can just slap something together like that. & thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I’m super new to this whole recording and editing stuff so any feedback I can get on ways to improve I’m all open! Thanks for the sub 🤙

You need a rectifier and run the yellow and white wires to the rectifier and the positive in the ground off the rectifier to your wideband

hey man I love the build and I would like to do this to my supermoto. I have a 2007 with a 125cc engine can you reply with the links to all of the parts that you used?. Thanks

Thanks! It’s definitely still a work in progress, so once I get everything figured out, I’ll have a video showing all the things I’ve used. Thanks for the interest in the build! We’ll have a new video for it soon

Pretty cool man! I got a turbo pit bike setup about the same way with an afr gauge. Still testing and tuning. I used a m12 battery to power my gauges.

Awesome man! I will keep that in mind when it comes to trying to get power to the gauge! Thanks for the info

@@SlapDi.KSpeedShop I got the adapter block of amazon. They make them for most drill batteries. Keep up the Cool build man!

The reason why you can't power up your accessory is because the stator that you have is not generating power. It's only generating spark, generating 12 volts off the stator will require another stator which you can get easily off of eBay then you'll need to regulate the power as well
@SlapDi.KSpeedShop7 ай бұрын
Took care of both of those things so by the next video, hopefully all is good and we have power to the gauge!
@mondude97549 ай бұрын
Nice work. Did you happen to notice and yellow and white wires coming directly off the engine stator? Those are the wires used for the charging system and I have found that every pitbike I’ve had has those charging system wires even if it doesn’t have a battery or lights
@SlapDi.KSpeedShop9 ай бұрын
Thank you! & I can’t remember right off hand which ones I had tried but I’ll get back into the wiring and definitely check them out and see if we can make something happen! I appreciate it dude!

U shouldn't need to pressurize the carb unless u have a blow through setup
@SlapDi.KSpeedShop9 ай бұрын
I have no idea lol it’s all trial and error at this point but I’m kinda leaning towards that too. Just have to test and tune and see!

Honestly didn’t have the patience to watch 75% of the video. What turbo did you use? VZ21?
@SlapDi.KSpeedShop8 ай бұрын
Yes VZ21, it’s in the machine shop right now getting a carbon seal installed. & I am working on getting better at what to record so it’s not so boring lol thanks for the feedback though

@@SlapDi.KSpeedShop thanks for the reply. I’ll be following this build as I’m wanting to do one myself with my high compression 140cc engine. I’ve had a vz21 in my eBay cart for about 2 years now and just haven’t pulled the trigger because I keep seeing the builds fail or never get finished on KZbin.

I totally get it man. We’re gonna learn how to make it happen and this one will be finished! Thanks for following along!
