He could’ve beaten the guy if he wasn’t afraid, he was maybe half throttle. I’ve beaten some 2010 era Hemi rams in mine with the manual and not babying it. It needs to get dynoed and probably a built trans or manual swap so you can go full throttle with it. That’s why I sought out the manual when I got mine, they tuned these engines down from the factory to save the automatics from grenading. Look into Flyin Ryan performance, they tune these trucks regularly and have gotten a dyno proven 100lbft of torque from just a 91 octane tune. These things have a lot of potential, just no aftermarket support

You would think a lot of the performance tricks that work on the Viper V10 would work on the truck V-10. I am reading a lot of the Viper V-10 engine parts aren't interchangeable but I question the validity of it. Might involve some machining to make parts work but it isn't impossible or is it. Years ago I helped on a poly 318 based experimental engine. It was 90 over and swapped to 360 J heads to fit into an early Dart. Had to modify the water ports in the heads to match up to the polyblock, run an LA cam and valve train and put steam holes in the block. For the first time anyone had done that it worked out better then we thought it would. People might want to start looking at the two V-10's again and how to make the parts work together. Maybe its impossible but maybe with a little creativity it's not!
