Hey, it's a prototype. You don't think the first cars were quiet, do you? (not that the ones going by my house are; but I think that's more due to the stereo industry). Power is always the issue, and a screaming high RPM 2 stroke is about as light as it gets for now.

@flonkbob824610 жыл бұрын
No worries. It's not an argument in any case. Believe me, with the people around whom I live, this sort of thing would be a "killin' offense". :) I love this thing just because it is so far out of the box for most people. Will it ever be practical outside the military? Not likely. Does that make it less cool? Not at all. And I hope you didn't think I was attacking your comment, not my intention at all. I thought it was funny.
@BlokeOzzie10 жыл бұрын
Flonk Bob I think it's pretty nifty. I imagine it will eventually get quieter as they start employing the new electrically-warpable organic materials for locomotion some places are experimenting with now, and fusion power actually becomes a reality.

+flexor212000 It is, but look at the way the motorcylcle has evolved over the last 100 years. Eventually, this would be proportioned more like a modern bike and probably be all electric. It would be like riding a horse, only much faster and for further, probably.

If we were unable to identify who made this robot atheists would be like, yo this thing formed by chance over billions of years.

And theists would be like, "I don't quite understand this, it must have come from a magical man in the sky".

ShaneD3488 While atheists scoff at God and the Genesis account of creation they fail miserably to explain how everything got here or created itself. If atheists understand better how everything began then why don't they tell us. Instead of the typical "sky daddy" response, maybe they could enlighten us how nothing becomes something and then intelligently arranged itself without a super natural creator. Let me guess, it starts off like this.... "trillions and trillions of years ago..." Maybe they could also explain why the law of biogenesis has never been disproved. No, the magical man in the sky line is not remotely as funny as listening to an atheist explain how it all began.

I love how some people are arguing, pointing at this complex machine saying "If we were unable to identify who made this robot atheists would be like, yo this thing formed by chance over billions of years" Thing is though, that robot wasn't "created", it didn't go from blueprint to rolling out of a production line just like that There were numerous prototypes, lots of mock-ups and countless blueprints, with revisions and modifications making each next one better than the previous one, more efficient and more suited to the task it's supposed to accomplish, along a development process spanning years remind you of anything?

Not to mention the fact that we only got to this level of technology from centuries of endless innovators of science risking their lives at the ignorant and frightened hands of religious people.
