When my elder rat Seymour's brothers died, I immediately got three baby rats for him and when I finally introduced them, he was so lonely that he cuddled them in the tub right away. It's been half a year since Seymour has passed, and now the babies, Boots, Echo, and Scout are all full grown and still act so similar to your little ones! Watching this brought back good memories :,)

Just to note, incase you are having any issues with smell, I saw you are usin paper based bedding which isn't very great for amonia control since it gets soaked so easily. Pine, aspen, or hemp bedding would absorb much more pee making it healthier and smell better for everyone.
@jettheottb3 жыл бұрын

@@oliveluca5196 its only contreversial because of outdated infos. The studies that showed pine to be dangerous only apply to pine that hasnt been kiln dried. Its one of the best (with aspen and hemp) for ammonia control while also being the cheapest.

I can sort of see where that would make sense. Suddenly smelling another rat in their own territory would probably feel threatening. Like an intruder sneakily encroaching upon what belongs to them.
