hi plm techology. I have some questions. I know that the function of fitting, which disassembles and reassembles parts, is only available in delmia in 3d experience. Is there any similar function in 3d experience? If there is a way to do this, can you show it in a simple video?

thanks very much for the videos, they have been very helpful at cover some of the gaps that DSS training does not cover at the moment. For example, I have a couple question that perhaps you could address: 1. Can we define torsional springs using the dynamics simulation tools? 2. Can I add friction to the mechanism joints, for example, can I add friction to a revolute joint?

Hello Marcel, Thank you for your kind comments :) To answer you: 1. It is only axial spring for the moment as I can see it. 2. You CANNOT add friction to an engineering connection, a revolute joint for instance. As they are used for kinematic normally. But I believe that you can create a revolute between A and B and then create a contact with friction between A and B. It could work, but I have not tried it myself, so I do not know how the result will be. Maxime at PLM Technology

@@MaximeChagnot thanks very much for the feedback, I was hoping that two capabilities of adding friction on the joint and torsional springs will be available by now. I look forward when that takes place, in the meantime I will continue to use other software those type of simulation done.

Yes I agree Marcel, I wished it could be available as well! Thank you for your comment :)

Très bien avec en plus un débogage en live ! Cool !

Merci Paul Hochon, le débogage n'était pas prévu ;) mais tant mieux que ça ce soit passé comme ça. On comprend davantage le paramètre de pénétration.

How can I done flour mill simulation?
@MaximeChagnot4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jigar, you can not do such a simuliation with CATIA 3DExperience but you can do it with SIMULIA 3DExperience. Here is the KZbin Channel for Simulia: kzbin.info

Hi Jigar, we apologize but we will not make a flour mill simulation, because we do not have customer having a need for this.
