Oh wow, this is exactly what I have been looking for to get back in the sport, a real build and not just glass and foam! Slightly concerned that the instructions are in German, but perhaps that adds to the challenge?!

John if your in the UK hyperflight supply lots of F5J models including the Introduction the kit is £169 they have recommendations for power esc and batteries etc

Hi how do you join the outer wing section to the mid section?

Its a very easy system that involves a clip and a screwhead. It takes 2 sec to attach, genious. It's hard to explain but have a look at the manual and you will see

@@flypilot yeah I've seen that clip on a video very good idea but I meant the 2 outer wing panels with the dihedral s on them are their dihedral braces that come with the kit ? From the centre section of the wing it goes with dihedral twice

This is not a plane you fly in strong winds, you fly this in light to medium thermals.

Der Heckbereich mit quermaserungsbeplankung ist eine einzige fehlkonstruktion. Als ob der Hersteller das Modell gezielt labil konstruiert hat. Als Modellbauer sollte man da reagieren.
